WGN 720-AM "Legally Speaking" hosts Greg Adamski and Karen Conti plan to stage a mock trial of "The People v. Drew Peterson" next week to air in June.

Drew Peterson might want to give Joseph R. Lopez a call.

Lopez, a high-profile attorney, managed to hang a jury in his defense of Peterson at a Thursday night mock murder trial at Chicago-Kent College of Law. WGN Radio sponsored the event and will broadcast it June 14 and 21.

WGN 720-AM airs the first segment of its two-part "The People v. Drew Peterson" special from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sunday, June 14. Taped last month, it finds "Legally Speaking" hosts Greg Adamski and Karen Conti taking part in a mock trial of final arguments and jury deliberations.

Who do they even think they are to hold a trial when they don't even know the evidence.

That would be like me determining if Nancy Pelosi or the CIA is telling the truth about what she knew regarding torture and water-boarding. Who cares what a bunch of people, without all the facts, decide on a case.

What a waste of time and also an insult to the public. Almost as insulting as the people that might believe the results indicate reality.

At least it was aptly named, 'mock trial'. It mocks the justice system and I can't believe anyone would waste their time with such nonsense.
