Well, MK, I hope that SCPD & FBI can run her DNA against the UIDs. The timing fits in with the legs discovered in 1996 of the victim whose head was discovered near Jones Beach Field 6.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't the woman whose legs were found believed to be the mother of the toddler? If so, that would seem to rule out Susan Walsh.

Didn't mean to suggest that the remains found were Susan's just that she could easily been murdered and dumped out in that area back in 1997, too. Perhaps an early victim of the same killer or "organized" group.

In a post I submitted a couple of days ago in the “Psyche Markers” thread, I alluded to a notorious sub-forum on Reddit. Reddit is a website that is popular among geeks and contains mostly useful news. The sub-Reddit forum I wrote about caters to people who enjoy violence against women. I cannot link to this forum or mention it's name because it's against the rules.

When I was in the sub-Reddit forum looking for signs of the Long Island perp, I came across some images that were created by a person with the word “misogynist” in his/her handle. This person claimed that he/she was brought into questioning by LE at the end of November 2011 due to his pictures. He/she mentioned that he was also being questioned about some missing persons. He claimed that his case was in the news but, I cannot find a record of this in the MSM. There was a link provided to a CNN story but, it doesn't work or never existed.

I am bringing this to everyone's attention for two reasons:

1.The timing of his alleged encounter with LE.
2.He produced two specific images of two different women w/ injuries that concern me. Both of the images depict a person holding a knife. One of images is titled “Operation”.

I have been sitting on this info for a while and it's been nagging at me. I don't know what to make of it.

If some of you choose to research what I have written about here, please be Warned--forum and the images I write about here are Depressing, Graphic and Violent!

I hope I am making too much out of nothing.

Dwntwnslim, IMO this SK will have a presence on the Internet...you sense that and the FBI & LE know that, too. There is no reason to believe that he/she is living in a cave. If you have a strong feeling about that particular forum and specifically that member, you may want to send a tip and a link to both SCPD and the FBI field office for NYC/LI.

That forum is not for the squeamish. I seriously hope LE is keeping tabs on the people who post there.

As for the aforementioned poster, apparently he's been apprehended? On one thread they were talking to a woman who let him stay with her for a weekend (what!?) and were accusing her of harboring a fugitive. Not sure the details or the veracity of what they're saying.

After going to that page I may now have to go hug a puppy to remind myself that there is still good in the world.

Just want to put up a warning about reddit. I just googled that word alone. It is a website, but I did not click to enter it because:

****jailbait archives**** is a part of the listed categories. It says something about teens. Please enter at your own risk, this could be a site where there is some pedophilia going on and I don't think any of us wants to go there! I could be wrong, but I'm not chancing it.

I did contact LE and don't forget LE has a presence on this website. My quandary was about bringing it to the attention of this forum for obvious reasons.

I haven't gone there (the Reddit subforum) to look but early in 2011 we were talking of an artist who painted a few disturbing pictures of 10 skulls in the sand near Gilgo Beach. We also discussed, IIRC, the wall paintings in the underground pedestrian walkway, IIRC, at Gilgo Beach. Both topics were discussed/discovered around the same time as the headstones for barrier reefs...if anyone remembers what time frame it was but I don't.

The two images I am referring to appear (although I don't know for sure) to have been done by taking a photo, putting it through a paint program to produce a particular effect and hand drawn. The member who posted the images and claims to have produced them has claimed it's his/her method/style of, ahem, "art".

May I PM you a link of the images?

One Correction: In my original post about this, I mentioned that I thought the two images might resemble two of the identified victims. I Should have said that one image might resemble one identified victim and the other resembles a Possible victim of the perp (LE has not confirmed she died at the hands of the serial killer). One of the images I am referring to is titled "Operation" or "The Operation", I can't remember which.

Could he have some sick, weird fantasy about being involved in this case? Or maybe he "gets off" by trying to get himself involved in this case? I've heard of weirdos who do things like this.

Yes, about the woman letting him stay w/ her. That person is referring to the member I am referring to.

If you click on the working link of his/her current handle (the one with the word "misogynist" in it), it will take you to an overview page of his/her posts. At the top of that page there are 3 links. Click on the one that says "submitted". On the second and/or third pages are the images I am referring to. One is called "Prepping for Operation" the other is called "Taking out the Trash".

I do think it's against the rules to post those images here as they are pornographic.

Quite possible. It's hard to know how to take any of those people. It's really a lot of very angry people who seem to support extreme violence against women with actual videos and graphic pictures of, well, violence against women. I would imagine that if you were a serial killer and enjoyed people's suffering, this site would be appealing.

I hope that for most of these guys this is a fantasy world that doesn't extend itself to their real lives. Then again, if you're actively looking for and posting pictures of people who've been attacked and/or killed, I think maybe it's surpassed the fantasy realm.

I don't blame you for not wanting to go in there. The stuff in there is heart wrenching!!

I do think it's possible he made up the story about being interviewed by LE. Maybe he said that because of your fantasy theory. I didn't think of that. That could very well be the reason. BTW, he Claims to be from California.
