Unfortunately, this is also possible sadly. Hypothetically, the alleged murderer had to ensure that Allison's iphone was not found as it allegedly contained much evidence of the above activities. Iphones can be used as spying devices and conversations can be listened into remotely without the awareness of the owner of the iphone. For example, if Allison had her iphone in her handbag or on the table while she was having coffee with friends, the conversations can be listened into remotely via the iphone. Of course, not your average Joe, but someone with an interest in doing so. Hopefully QPolice is right on it. Maybe some of our technowiz members can expand on this. My opinion only, not fact.

No wonder GBC had to get rid of Allison's phone - he would have been caught out once QPS got to check the apps. Maybe the purchase of the spyware is traceable - it'll be amongst that $45,000 of credit card debt which the forensic accountants are plowing through.

I speculate then that his phone was stuck to his ear up until his arrest because he was listening in on TM's iphone

Yeah I gotta say IMO I can't see why the need to spy on Allison though. If anything it would be the woman wanting to spy on the cheating husband.

But I can definately see GBC allegedly wanting to spy on TM, especially after Allison went "missing".

Ah, Fuskier, it was you asking re listening in on calls, sorry. Yes, very iteresting indeed, I would be quite confident that he knows a lot more about surveillance equipment than we might have thought. Thanks Makara for the hard work re the Companies he's involved with!

Couldn't find any 'software' as such to put into a smartphone, though they would surely have that too I would hazard to guess?
I think Allison knew lots, even without iphone software every move can be tracked, every place you go can be tracked. She must have confided in someone, every one needs someone to talk to, and yes, someone else would most probably have known,especially if he was into all that type of surveillance equipment, oh my they even have night vision equipment.

I agree that he would have had very good reason (in his mind) to get rid of Allison's phone, and unfortunately it has not been found. I don't feel that he was that sophisticated in some technical things, don't know why I think that, just the way he talks (his blog), he just doesn't come across as the "Spy" type of guy, though appearances can be very decieving, as he has been charged with murder. Someone said don't Judge a Book by it's Cover.....

I agree, the Forensic Accountants have lots of unravelling to do.

Someone offering these Ozspy services to the Chamber of Commerce is a danger to the Brisbane Inner West business community IMO. It could potentially put Ozspy in a position of ultimate control over information - for sale - to various interests - for a price? It could expand further into other systems - for a price? Question: Did Allison become aware of some Ozspy 'spying/surveillance' of an important member of the community or organisation which she considered unethical? Just a thought. My opinion only. The fact that Ozspy had night vision equipment means that it was possible that some night vision equipment may have been utilized to help navigate the bush land on 19th April? My opinion only, not fact.

Indeed we do. I'd love to know if she went to the conference and whether she was called by someone in the BC family that night (thursday) or early the next morning to learn of Allison's supposed disappearance.

Jumping in to ask if we could please all stick to the facts as we know them otherwise it just creates confusion.

There's nothing that we know of which states that OW "directed GBC to do a quickie sale prior to the advertised Auction". While OW may be his power of attorney we don't know that to be fact.

With the face time call...there is nothing to say it was OW who took the call. A couple of members have said they "think" it was her but that doesn't make it fact.
