I am confused about the area where the body was found. I keep seeing that it is where you would dump a body if you definitely wanted it found. However, it looks super desolate to me. If I was dumping something I definitely wanted to be found (some even speculated to taunt the community or parents) this is not a place I would choose. Is it a lot less desolate than it seems?

It seems like this strange combination of well-hid and not well-hid. I guess what will also affect that for me is if she was in a bag or blanket or anything.

I don't know why this bothers me, but it does. I feel like a more cautious wanting to remain hidden abductor would have made different decisions, but a taunting I want people to find her abductor would have also made different decisions. Maybe interrupted? Or the area has special meaning somehow? Or just plain we don't have all the details yet so we cannot form full theories.

I hate to say it but after reading that article, I'd say we've got the head/hands gone.

For Jessica

:seeya:
I posted that on another thread last night SS.
I had a gut feeling that's the reason why identification wasn't made
earlier. If no head was with the body there would be no teeth.
With no hands there would be no fingerprints.
I'm quite fearful of this. :(

I'm going to guess that the perp has done this before....
I also agree with those that say he was a local. I don't think he
is young as or old...somewhere around his fortys. I think he drives
a small truck.
I'm still just sick about this.

This RO was from msthinkalot from yesterday post #1149.I think this looks real good.Do you know who this guy is or at least where he was from or anything about him?

I found one that I thought looked very similar to the sketch. I'm not showing his name, because I don't want to be "witch-hunty"... but, to me, the resemblance is striking between this particular RSO and the "candyman".

(Please forgive my horrid photoshop skills... I couldn't find a larger pic of the RSO, and I couldn't find a smaller pic of the sketch!)

Thank You.I agree with you that he needs to be looked into about the two attempted abductions and I feel with little Jessica too.

Just curious does he live near Jessica or where the back pack was found?

He lives about 3.5 mi from Jessica's house and about 7.5 miles from where she was found. The backpack is about 13 mi. from his house, if he drove along the route that took him from his house, to where Jessica was found, to where the backpack was found. The road he lives off, 86th Parkway, follows Standley Lake Park and it's a fairly direct shot over to 82nd.

I'm definitely not saying that he had anything to do with the attempted abductions or with Jessica, but I find it striking that he looks so much like the sketch.

My theory on where he left the body is mountain lions. There was a culvert w running water and after the drought conditions and fires, these cats have moved towards water. My son shot 100 lb mt lion a few weeks ago that was near a source of water. Gahhh!!! Sorry to be so blunt, but these cats are seen in neighborhoods regularly after the summer we have had out west.

This guy has a address on Moore Circle...steps from Jessica's house...I wonder if he's been checked out. I think he also resembles the guy in the sketch. http://sor.state.co.us/?SOR=offende...&county=&sort=NAM&Search=Search&id=X002454920

I'm so glad you said this. We all know how she was found, but do we yet know if it was a human (monster) or an animal that did it? (please correct me if I am in error) If not, perhaps it would be possible to wait until we have MSM confirmation to speculate about it. Rest in peace little angel Jessica.

I dont think it is out of bounds if we discuss what may have happened.
Thats what people here at WS do...whether they're discussing a robbery, a missing case or a murder.
I can assure you people here are not mentioning this to be rude or uncaring. They're trying to find out what happened.
imo

ps if its too much to read, sometimes it's best to take a break. :blushing:

I can't find an actual verifiable reward fund, but I don't have facebook so maybe it is listed there.

TY for the link. I hope any reward offered would not be burdened on the family. In Lyric and Lizzy's case in IA. LE offered a $50K reward. Just find it strange we haven't heard of any like crime stoppers...or even locals. Maybe media can follow thru with subject. ?

Down to the right of the scene there is an entrance a person could drive through with vehicle dirt roads going toward that direction. There's buildings in the area, but I really think if something was done in one of those buildings there would have been crimescene tape around it. The news helicopters probably would have shown them, unless asked not to. There's photos of the officers in lines to search, and I posted a pic of an officer around the graffiti mine shaft building and didn't see crime tape around it. Did anyone else see any of the buildings with crimescene tape?

Ha! I remember skipping over him because he did not appear to have any eyebrows in the state offender website. The other photo you found of him with the goatee shows his facial structure much better!

Second, the imaginary "detectives" on this site have actually solved cases or helped to solve cases. Did you know that? There are some ridiculously hard workers on here - those for whom this is a second job, who work tirelessly to identify the unidentified, or to get justice for crime victims who the law and the world seemed to have forgotten (I'm looking at you MsFacetious and Believe09!). They move mountains and do some incredible things on here.

I was thinking of so many people as I read this... including Believe... Sarx... Gitana... several others.

To see my name listed made me go :what: there is another MsFacetious?!

I do not deserve that kind of credit... but thank you for thinking I do. :seeya:

BBM

IIRC, there was a black garbage back next to the remains. But that was from an early report, so it's entirely possible updated stories might say something different.

I've been wondering if the abductor might have been interrupted in the process of getting rid of Jessica's body. He may have stopped on his way to the abandoned shack, for instance. I've seen a couple of posts from locals that said kids/teenagers hang out in that area after dark. If he'd been startled by the sounds of teens messing around, maybe he just left things where they were and got out of there. Just my possible opinion.

There are probably several reasons why that theory isn't plausible, but I'm using my keyboard to "think out loud".

If it was animal, the skull would be found, and a dental ID would have been possible.

Animals don't tend to eat the skull or even move it, it's heavy.

My opinion only of course.

:cow:

Somebody pointed out earlier that it could well be both: some from the killer and later from animals. That would make sense if she had been lying there for a while.

I think its pretty obvious what Not Intact means!

The confusion lies with determining how the body came to be 'not intact' vs not understanding the term itself. We're in the dark so far.

From where he lives he could certainly know her schedule.... see her crossing the street and on her way to school.

The guy on the bottom more resembles the sketch from the recent WY kidnapping.

The original is a deadringer for the sketch though, you did good!
