Wow
Where can I get a job like that?

Yes aa9511, but there is the other addition of Jodi using the guys up until there is nothing left. With Bobby she moved in with him in the "hovel" to get away from her parents. There was really very little for Bobby to offer her other than a place to live. Once Jodi found a better place she moved on. With Matt she lived with him as well if I am not mistaken. Matt didn't have a lot of money or anything either. Matt was a simple person like Jodi, working jobs that didn't pay a lot. Then along came Daryl. Daryl the manager at the new place Jodi was working, that was 20 plus older than she was, with established credit. Jodi and Daryl bought a house "together", if one believes Jodi. But once Daryl's money was drying up and he had either lowered himself down in the workplace or was demoted by the owners and the house was going into foreclosure, Jodi was looking for the next step up. Along comes Travis. Travis with the nice house, nice car, nice clothes, great job. Only one problem with Travis, he wouldn't let her control him and use him up completely as she was able to do in the past with other people. Ryan, no disrespect to him, was not a step up at that time from Travis. Ryan was simply an alibi, nothing more. Ryan had even less to offer Jodi than what she was getting from Travis. Ryan still lived at home, although it was an apartment attached to his parents home. No, Jodi is one of those that moves upward, not sideways or backwards.

But yes, Jodi always had the next one lined up before getting rid of the one she was with. I also don't really think that the other guys caught onto what Jodi was truly like or if they did they were scared to death of what she was capable of. There's no good reason for Matt and Daryl to have stood by Jodi after her behavior of them if they truly knew what she was like. Both have behaved as if they lost the great love of their life when Jodi broke up with them. Both have done whatever they could to protect Jodi and help Jodi after she broke up with them. There has to be a reason for it but I doubt we will ever know the complete honest truth as to what it is.

MOO

After DB left the stand the first time he may have realized that people knew it was him and not appearing made him appear as if he were hiding. And it did. So much speculation guess he just decided to go public.

He gives me an uncomfortable vibe either way.

Ya think? That creepy voice, accompanying the hands. . . :scared::scared:

You mean the hands that gave it away that the pic shown in court that was claimed to have been Travis' male part was actually a pic of Daryl's male part? Those hands?

Hey WS! How is everyone?

I just got prescribed Leuprorelin for a medical procedure, and this is what they treat it for:
:what:
"Leuprolide has been tested as a treatment for reducing sexual urges in pedophiles and other cases of paraphilia.High doses are sometimes used to chemically castrate sex offenders."

Crazy!!
Well um.....wow. Kinda speechless here lol

Right? I did not sense one ounce of sincerity from him. I wonder what those two were up to. He struck me as so sneaky.
I'll delete if I cant say that.

Did I mention that? Did I?

I actually managed to miss that picture, thank Dog! But there was certainly discussion of it here.

Travis: I think the other guys knew how to approach her to avoid her psycho ways, and Travis unfortunately didn't. The other guys knew they couldn't let her KNOW that they wanted to break up with her. But their actions conveyed it to her. So they went along with her break-up discussions and heart-to-hearts and long break-up e-mails, b/c they knew that was the only way to get rid of her. TO MAKE HER THINK LIKE SHE WAS IN CONTROL. They had her pegged from early on, and unfortunately Travis didn't, and even when he did, he didn't know how to handle someone like her.

I don't knwo what the other guys did exactly to keep her happy, but the point is they let her think she was always in control of them. Travis, I believe, let her know that they were not excusive and that he had every right to date and see other women if she wanted to. HE DIDN"T LET HER CONTROL THE BREAK-UP. He did the breaking-up...and that was his big mistake.

Underscored by me.

I think you are absolutely right about those past break ups. We've all been involved with a person who doesn't get the hint, latches on and won't go away. Best thing is to create some issue and let them decide to break up with us.

I think the problem that Travis encountered is that there wasn't anything he could do to force her to break up.

She tried alienating him from his friends, had freaky deaky sex with him to create a rift between Travis and the LDS, chased away his potential girlfriends.

Her identity was wrapped around TA and when he tried pulling away, the crazy really started.

On the stand, she spoke about him as if he were still alive and she was his girlfriend. She loved it when the papers and reporters referred to him as her boyfriend. She never corrected them ONCE.

In her mind, they ARE still bf and gf because her name will always and forever be used in the same sentence as the name Travis Alexander.

Honestly makes me want to projectile vomit.

I honestly have to wonder if the camera people in the courtroom had fun when they decided to focus on the hands! Even minus the graphic pic-with- hands reference, the effect of the voice with only hands was creative. :scared:

I didn't think it was DB's male part. I thought it was random, that Jodi put on Travis' text to her, then deleted it from his phone.
But I sure as heck don't think that Travis knowingly sent her that pic.
This broad is so cunning! imo

Poor court reporter Mike. Having that pic displayed right there above his head. It would not surprise me if Mike has PTSD now from having to listen to and type all of that carp that was said and done in court.

Have you checked out the nail beds and fingers of the hands in question against Daryl's hands that were so kindly focused on in court? Unfortunately I have and IMO they match. That was a fun conversation with hubby..........honey I swear I am ONLY looking at the hands to see if it is Travis or not.

From the NBC interview with Diana Alvear:

When asked about her lies: "I've lied - years ago.' LOL! She lied every day on the witness stand.

When asked about the purpose of all of the interviews: She says her mission now is to bring awareness to DV. LOL! She advocates for documenting bruises, etc., but what about telling women to just LEAVE!!!! Hello!!!

When asked if she thinks she committed a crime: "I'll have to pass on that". What did she think it was - a mercy killing?

When asked what her greatest mistake was: "Making a left instead of a right." What about breaking into Travis's home with a knife and a gun? No?

When asked if Travis deserved to die: "I flashed and I reacted." I believe this statement is the most telling of all. She has an uncontrollable temper with bouts of uncontrollable rage. When she realized Travis was not going to capitulate to her desires, she snapped. Travis did not lay a hand on her, nor did he threaten her. He was taking a shower, his roommates were due home soon, and she was unable to persuade him to change his mind. This was a frenzied, rage killing.

One of the reasons I have become so fascinated with Jodi Arias is the fact that her rage is constantly simmering just beneath the surface. She was like a time bomb ready to go off. There were times in court that I prayed the stun belt was in proper working order. In one of her final interviews, she was asked if the public would be safe if she was ever allowed out of prison. Her reply was bone-chilling. "As long as I am not attacked, abused or threatened, everyone should be safe" (paraphrasing). Chilling!

Something tells me it was the JF that reported her for the comment.

it wasn't juror 17 tweeted that t was some one on the court staff who heard it and reported it to the judge, she won't say who, just said it wasn't valerie the bailiff

Don't know if you have seen this yet.

That is a brilliant article. She went right to the heart of the matter, which is that people are NOT upset because he didn't vote DP. It's the reasons he is stating for his decision that are upsetting, and the fact that he went straight to the media even though they had agreed not to. I would add to that, that his media statements speak to me that he never should have even accepted the duty of jury foreman given his inability to set his personal biases aside and lead the jury in deliberations. It was his JOB to encourage discussion, and I don't believe he did that.

Maybe one of the jurors will come forward and shed some light on that one way or the other. He didn't independently hang this jury. There were four people that voted against the majority. But it surely appears from his statements that he was one of them, even if he won't admit it. And I believe that affected the way the jury approached deliberations, and is a major reason why they couldn't see any way to reach consensus.

Oh wow, TorisMom003....I wish Juan had used you for an "expert" on gold-digging girls and others the same ilk of CMJA!!! You could have been a "rebuttal witness" to ALV!!!! I really like this line of yours:
Jodi is one of those that moves upward, not sideways or backwards.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Yes, you have just made it SO clear to me how she used those guys, and how she replaced them by, in her mind, moving upwards. I always knd of thought she was just obsessed with all of them, kind of like just the girl who craved their attention ALL THE TIME. And then finally with their cheating, she was forced to give them up, even though she didn't really want to. But your analysis makes much more sense. Yes, exactly, she let them go when it was convenient for her. WOW!

I do think that Bobby and Matt had to have known a little of her psycho-ness...I think that's part of the reason they were cheating on her. Or maybe they wanted to keep her around for the sex. I don't know, like you said, we'll never know.

Darrly I think was completely obsessed with her, like you said. Willing to do anything. That's part of the reason she was able to dump him in trash so fast. He was completely under her control and happy with her. But like you said, he wasn't "it all" for her, one thing might have to do with his age. She didn't view hiim as the ultimate prize like she did with Travis. Didn't matter that he tried to make her happy and that he cared for her....like you said, she was all about outward appearances. And her outward appearance didn't look good standing next to a 50-year old man with a kid.
