GUILTY PA - Family doctor arrested for thousands of child *advertiser censored* images on home computer

Dr. Mark Janosko of Pin Oak Dr. McCandless Twp. - a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA -was arrested earlier today at his home. He is a Family Practice physician with West Penn Associates. Police had obtained a search warrant after tracing him through a file sharing site.

Charges are possession and distribution of child *advertiser censored*. Thousands of sexually explicit photos of young boys were found.

This pervert is married, lives in a suburban residential neighborhood. He freely admitted to police he has been viewing child *advertiser censored* "for years on and off" and he "doesn't think it interferes with his daily life".

What a sick puppy this one is!

That is just plain disgusting! We went to a doctor a few times who was later charged with trading narcotic drugs for sex with a police decoy. It also came out in the news that he had been forcing his female employees to supply him with their urine to drink or he would fire them. He had an odd habit of taking phone calls from his wife during a patient exam and saying to his wife, "I love you too, yes, I love you too." It was embarrassing as a patient to listen to in the exam room and he talked to his wife often and for quite awhile. When I was sick one time, he called me at home the next day to ask if I was feeling better. No doctor has ever done that before. His office ended up being closed because he had to go to jail for awhile. He was very odd.

I can't imagine being a parent of a teen boy then finding out about this. Even if he never touched a kid, just knowing that your child was examined by him, maybe had to undress. I would always wonder if he got off on that.

isnt there a federal law now that allows victims of child *advertiser censored* to sue those who download and disseminate it? If the feds can ID any of these kids, I bet Dr Jansko has some ready funds for them.

I am going to look into my crystal ball and anticipate that Dr Jansko will say he has an illness and downloading the child *advertiser censored* is what is preventing him from offending against patients and he was touched inappropriately as a young child.

Just a guess.

IF they are sorry it's always to their families or themselves. Once in awhile one will actually say they are sorry for the victims. In an overwhelming amount of cases like this it's something I see time and again. It's about them.

The Vitals.com link? I went there, it's just another lookup to get information about a doctor that you might be interested in seeing. There are a lot of sites for that, but this one is rather nice. Patients can rate the doctor there, if they wish.

I have just changed my PCP, and I looked her up... she has a nice house and swimming pool, lol. (Don't they all?)

A North Hills resident has been sentenced in federal court to 88 months’ imprisonment, to be followed by 12 years’ supervised release, on his conviction of receipt of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

United States District Judge Mark R. Hornak imposed the sentence on Mark Janosko, 48, of Pin Oak Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
