True Crime Brewery Podcast on YouTube (and other platforms) released an episode today (December 15, 2025) on Claudia's disappearance. I'd put a link here, but not sure it is an "approved source". It's titled, "Vanished on Heworth Road."
Can some please tell me how to pronounce "Heworth"...
Maybe one of those "accidental" death policies? It used to be possible to take them out on behalf of someone else with yourself as the beneficiary -- but I do think it is illegal now. Not sure though.
Thanks, TootsieFootsie, for the article.
Some choice tidbits from the article:
"Ahle also told authorities he saw an unknown person walk from Cranwell’s driveway toward Kyte Place. Surveillance cameras belonging to someone who lives across the street told a very different story, though...
I'd like to know if he voluntarily retired from his corrections officer job, or was he forced to retire.*
He seems like a sociopath to me. Cracking jokes after he unsuccessfully "rescued" his neighbor from a burning house; calling the daughter, and portraying himself as a selfless "hero"...
NJ man charged with murder after claiming he tried to save neighbor from house fire
From the video in the article, at 0:18/2:40, reporter states that Ahle was a retired corrections officer.
At 0:33/2:40, you can see that there is a Weichert Realtor for sale sign in Virginia Cranwell's yard...

Neighbor burned trying to save woman in fatal Fanwood, NJ house fire
Quote from son, after his father was taken to hospital with burns: "He's awake, he's talking," Ahle said. "He's still laughing and cracking jokes himself."
Another quote from son: "I used to shovel...
Barbara Kepner (paternal grandmother of Anna): "Whatever happened in that room, the only person responsible is the person that was in the room with Anna."
At 3:35 of video.
Madalina Cojocari still missing 3 years later: WBTV True Crime Carolinas looks at the case
From the article:
"Diana Cojocari moved back to her home country of Moldova, while Palmiter still lives in Cornelius. WBTV tried contacting both of them without any success."
At 6:13, the PI (Bill Garcia), who is being interviewed here by Brian Entin, says that Ashlee placed the cut out pictures of Melodee on a table in her home. The table he said was sort of an "altar" and the pictures were placed there in memory of Melodee -- I'd call it a shrine to Melodee. [How...
Oh, I didn't watch the video. I didn't know it was available to watch -- and I just can't watch that kind of thing! I thought the golf cart was her "ride" picking her up from outside a bail/bondsman place after she was arrested. [Obviously, I need to read the articles maybe.]
Good to see...
