Timeline and age match. Hair... not exactly, but may have changed between disappearance and death, especially if foul play was involved.
This description doesn't match perfectly, but it's not far off, and there is the LA/California connection here. What do y'all think?

@MadMcGoo: thanks for all of the above. I've gone ahead and submitted this for evaluation at the Doe Network and I'll see if that gets anywhere. Were dentals and/or DNA available for both the MP and UID?
I might have missed it above, and it would be at the extreme end of the estimated death period, but has Frances Clark been compared to this UID? The photos on Namus are so poor quality that it's hard to even tell if there is a resemblance...

As mentioned in the article, there are no missing cases entered in Jefferson County. There also do not appear to be any recently entered cases from any MS county or LA parish close to the area. The fact...
Was just reading this article. I couldn't help but feel like it quotes some aspects of Mlthurn's post almost verbatim, so I suspect the media may have located this thread.
Sad, unusual case. Sounds like she was very self-sufficient and a lot of family is worried about her. Hope there is some...
Junction City police contacted via phone and detectives being notified. They were definitely interested in comparing the two. The number listed in the article for Geary County is a working number, but when option 6 (all other inquiries) is selected, the extension is disconnected.
Wonder if this could be Nicholas Dolce, never seen again after allegedly murdering his mother in Trinidad, CO, in 1986.

This discounts the above theory that was previously generated through social media, but could this possibly be Jack...
Some new attention being brought to this case:

I ran a fresh search through Namus just now for missing individuals matching the description in the months before this UID...
https://www.kake.com/story/48569862/police-human-remains-found-in-wilson-county
Per this article, hunters have located skeletal remains in a pasture south of Coyville in Wilson County, KS. A quick search through Namus found no active missing cases in this county, though there are five in...
Aside from the ruleout above, this is the closest case in the area:

Some details including her exact name and where exactly she went missing are a little confusing. Her thread...
