    General Discussion #4

I've just spent a lot of time reading through all the threads on Lisa...my heart breaks for her and her family, particularly the children. I recently wrote to Sandra Belanger about Lisa, and got a brief reply. I believe she is planning on trying to help in Lisa's case, after she puts in some...

IL - Jaylen Brown, 13, disabled, dies of neglect, Chicago, 15 May 2008

I do agree with this. The responsibility ultimately falls on the nurses - I would like to know if these nurses were at least in touch with the doc by phone, what their current orders were, and exactly how the sores were being treated. I'd also be interested in what was charted during the...

They sometimes also tunnel subcutaneously into surrounding tissue, adding to the challenge. It is not always due to neglect. Once even...

Should Darlie have a new trial?

I SO agree! I (and I honestly think, most mothers) would have to be under general anesthesia to sleep through any part of that. This woman's lies have had me boiling for years. I have seen too many abused and neglected children to have one drop of pity for Darlie Routier. I know the...

Should Darlie have a new trial?

No offense, but just because your family has different ways, does not make this portion of the story outrageous or unbelievable to everyone. I have daughters ages 17 and 5. I can certainly imagine myself and my children falling asleep watching a movie in the summertime, and just pulling throws...
