Absolutely. The the narcissism, the ego, the trashing of ARS's character while attempting to portray himself as a white knight and, of course, the steroid use -- all of these things point in the same direction, that being the attempt at projecting an image of perfection. And having to admit...

I mostly agree, but at the same time, there exists the possibility that an animal-friendly person could have used them in attempt to remove wild hogs from their property in a humane way, rather than killing.

Curious...is that area of Salt Flat Rd. even within the jurisdiction of LPD? Seems more like county/sheriff jurisdiction, to me.

There's one right here: Street View: Google Maps Attached is the Google Map Satellite View, showing location relative to Luling proper. (red star denotes location)

I'm one of the posters who suggested this. And it's due to 2 primary factors: 1) the Valero is actually a scant 150' from that intersection; 2) the very real possibility of the imprecision of his Location Services at the time (due to one or more factors)

I believe it has been clarified that the "fence" in question was, in fact, the patio railing of their ground-level apartment.

I agree with your point that there needs to be healthy skepticism applied to statements by all the characters in this case, as it's certainly not a wise path forward to accept at face value any such statements. Of course some of these statements could be 100% spot-on, but others could be geared...

I posted a satellite view of the intersection upthread. Yet another overblown, over-sensationalized bunch of BS from the "trusty" MSM. Pathetic.

I think, in light of the fact that countless social media posts depict the victim with some sort of adult beverage in her hand, the idea of her leaving their home "under the influence" is not far-fetched.

There is a Valero gas station within appx. 150 feet of that intersection. It's possible he was carjacked there after he stopped for fuel/snacks/etc.

I understand your point. But, having worked in MSM in the past, I have more than ample experience with it all to know better than to rely too heavily upon them. Between the too-eager-for-clicks mentality which is so prevalent in "news" today (especially w/r to those who write the headlines) and...
