4:17 would of been close to the time that he was walking through the house and out the door. If someone was at our door, opens it, shuts it or whatever our dogs go crazy.

This is a quote from CBS News "Police said the two surviving roommates slept through the stabbings." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/idaho-college-murders-911-call-roommate-phone/

I thought it was illegal to video in the courtroom in Idaho? If so maybe this should be removed?

I believe that the police have been saying that the other two roommates were asleep. After reading the PCA, we obviously know that's not the case. It's MOO that the police may have done this to protect DM. If the killer thought that there might of been a witness that identified him (in any...

Ethan wasn't an "official" roommate. Just the boyfriend of Xana.

Most camera's (especially the Ring type of camera) do not pick up audio alone. They are motion activated so there would of had to have been some type of motion that had already caused the camera to activate, for it to be able to then pick up any sounds.

I think it states he returned to the "area" (as in driving by, or nearby), not that he entered the home again.

I believe they said the judge was a "Ma'am".

I was thinking the same thing. If she were in a darkened room and simply "cracked" her door she could of had a large area that she could of seen, but on the other hand, if he were even looking in her direction he might of simply been looking towards a totally darkened area with a door just...

I'm 63, and have literally been doing genealogy for 50 years now. Ancestry.com and other sites have made searching very easy. Not everything on there is always 100% correct, but I guarantee you I could go on there and with just his and his parents names, I could go back 3 or 4 generations in...

With the DNA all they had to do was go to "various" genealogical databases online and see if he matched any. Not everyone's DNA is available on these databases, but if someone has had their DNA analyzed for genealogical purposes they can choose to make their DNA available to police (on some...

GEDmatch is a DNA site that allows those who have uploaded their DNA to "opt in" to allow your DNA to be made available for police use.

Unless he's so deranged that he honestly thought he'd never be caught and kept the murder weapon as a "trophy", you better believe that it will never be found. If he was smart it's at the bottom of a river or one of the great lakes that he drove past.
