The COA denied a motion to prevent JM's book coming out, so doubt that bar complaint will go anywhere. Nurmi was her attorney, not JM, if any complaint comes to anything, it will be Nurmi's book. Have no idea if complaints have been filed though.

salberg7 said what I would have said. This guy is certainly not above pretending to have a legal relationship in order to visit her. Did it before and does it now - I only wonder how often DOC verifies their license to practice once approved.

Attorneys usually do visits when gen'l public isn't there - looks like even the fan playing attorney visited on days other than Thursday. As for the # of visits, I have a vision of her calling that female & whining when she sees no one else signed up and begging her to come. Don't have any...

BBM. From looking at their firm website and an article mentioning them online, it seems they represent the attorneys when complaints or charges are filed. Don't think they work the other way around. I wondered if JA filed against Nurmi (his book), and they are his attorneys? Rules only...

It is not a swamp cooler. Per an email received from AZ DOC, it's called a Chiller AC system and is used in large industrial & commercial facilities. It works well in humid conditions, unlike swamp coolers and less expensive to operated than refrigerant cooled systems used for residential and...

Re:Lynch If you read the original AZ Supreme Court ruling, the judge wasn't refusing to allow the jury to hear about LWOP. The defendant asked to waive the Life (with of release) option and have her tell the jury he would never get out if they allowed him to live. The judge said there...

Wonder if the earlier "request" for Management Conference was improper per COA Rules/Policies? Maybe attys were told to submit this motion specifying need for supplements and filing time for brief, so that the COA could rule on it and order a conference? That's all I can figure out...

Normal time to file a brief is 40 days, so with a 30 day extension, 70 days is allowed "without cause". The 30 day extension only requires a letter requesting it, not a motion. That's why I'm saying they must be asking for more than 70 days to file. Agree on the supplements - they were...

Nothing I've found states when the clock starts, but I would imagine with all those transcripts they will get more time. How much? No idea. But this is a motion for more time than the extra 30 days (70 day total). If it were just the 30day extension, that doesn't require a motion. As for...

From COA: Per COA FAQ: Since JA's request for Conference & Briefing Schedule was denied, I'm guessing (1) they do not intend to allow any special extensions of time for scheduling of briefs, and (2) don't anticipate appeal issues being all that complex since it was definitely a long...

In his book, JM says these were notes from the investigator re: interviews, and were turned over to the state as part of discovery. He had just put off reading them when rec'd because he normally doesn't look at materials intended for the later stages until his guilt phase case is finalized in...

Not that I believe he would still be on her visitor list, but he now lives in Phoenix according to his FB.

Better than initial...think of an AZ senator that was a POW. Yes, I remembered who Ray is when I saw the name. At least he puts his money where his mouth is, unlike the rest of 'em.

No, neither of these were on it - other than family, I only recognized 2 names. Ray C and Ben E. None of the 'supporters' names you normally see are on it...

OK, I went back to the book thread and found this from Nurmi: BK's entries now show last names and cities, btw. In the deposits that are listed from 12/12/12 to 4/13/13 this guy made the following donations (don't think he's the wealthy guy that had her in his will) $20, $20, $50, $15 &...
