No, not Federal crime. Murders are almost always state crimes unless committed in special circumstances. I suppose LE could be investigating any evidence of a murder for hire or sexual exploitation of a child case, but that would just complicate a seemingly obvious capital murder case. MOO...

It said, “More charges are expected...”. Not more arrests. I think the DA is firming up his murder case and will be filing murder charges against MF in the coming days. Now that they know it really is Margo, they can go with a capital murder charge.
