Laura Babcock Murder Trial 10.24.17 - Day 2

I like that the crown is being honest and bringing forth witnesses that aren’t trying to hide that she had issues.

Laura Babcock Murder Trial 10.24.17 - Day 2

Omg I made it. Yesterday was crazy busy and I missed the whole first day. Will catch up tonight. Hi everyone. I’m happy to see you all while we fight for justice for Laura. Yes, she had issues, there is no denying that, but she didn’t deserve this ending.

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

Boohoo MS. I'm sure everyone who has been convicted of murder think their trial was unfair!

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

This, exactly. I have no problem with people having a difference of opinion. But when suddenly, they are assuming the jury made their decisions for the wrong reason, or without enough evidence, or that they could have lied and been searching on their phones for info they shouldn't see, or that...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

Thankfully, the jury wasn't supposed to be watching the media/news while on the jury so they wouldn't have been exposed to this during the trial at all.

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

My question to you though, is how do you know what evidence the jury used to make their decision? If they came out In Public one by one and stated they believed he was guilty because he helped searched for an incinerator, he took part in scoping trucks, they didn't believe his story about DM...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

Every single defense lawyer claims they will appeal a guilty verdict. again, none of your examples are cause for an appeal. He pushed his gf once and had a bad temper... Do you really think the jury convicted him on THAT evidence and chose to ignore the real, evidence against him

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

We heard plenty of bad character evidence on DM, like all the stuff he stole, his fancy drug box he'd pull out at parties and supply everyone with, the fact he had 3 women in the go, etc. Appeals are won due to mistakes and errors, wrong rulings, etc. No court is going to grant a murder 1...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder #2

Oh, you mean the sausage pics all the MS supporters have been claiming for weeks as being all innocent and no big deal? Suddenly, they're horrible and damning to his reputation and that picture and his rap song are what got him convicted? He can appeal all he wants. His lawyer did an amazing...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder

I'm going to continue to have faith in the jury that gave up their lives for 5 months, who sat in court day after day, delay after delay, heard 100s of hours of testimony. I have faith and belief that tonight, will be the best sleep that they have had in months. I have faith that each and every...

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder

So you're assuming the jury had doubts that Smich was guilty of murder1? I'd hope they wouldn't convict someone they thought was innocent, especially after standing up in court and agreeing they voted and believed he was guilty.

Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder

I think people are forgetting to calculate the actual deliberating time. Take off the lunch and supper hours, the 2 hours in court Wednesday morning reviewing testimony, the 3.5 hours lost for migraines/lunch, the leaving early yesterday. Monday was also a right off, they probably spent the...

He's not, people need to read. He's surprised there is no impact statements. That's all.
