I wasnt too thrilled with the prosecution up until this closing. But this closing really is awesome.

Im sitting here thinking the same thing...if it were my husband I would be in that tub so fast. And if he couldnt actually lift he could certainly roll her onto the side of the tub and push/pull her out.

My heart really goes out to her - she is still in so much pain. This will be an interesting cross tho. I hope they dont try to manipulate and confuse her especially in the state she is in as she will not hold up well at all. Did anyone get how she said her dad told her the position her...

GUILTY UT - Michele MacNeill, 50, found dead in bathtub, Pleasant Grove, 11 April 2007 - #1

I have a garden tub very similar to the one Michelle was found in. There is no way I believe she was trying to wash her hair. It is way too awkward to wash hair by leaning over tub. There had to be a normal bathtub in the rest of the house which would have been much more comfortable for...

Penalty Phase - Verdict Watch #4

Just remember its not the WHOLE jury....at least we know there was 1 (or more) who would not bow down to others who wanted to give her life...good for them!

    Verdict Watch 05/06/2013 - part 2

that was my "killer" trial - the thought of that poor baby's handprint above the bed in the RV still haunts me!...I was so invested in that case that even tho the verdict was the one we all wanted I swore I would never watch another trial...I was wrong - I have watched other trials just not so...

    Verdict Watch 05/03/2013

I totally agree. I cant fathom how it isnt blatently obvious that it is premeditated murder 1 but after listening to some of the "jurors" on After Dark last night I am worried. Quite a few fell for that heat of passion theory. SMH

I totally agree with you but I was thinking the same thing with the CA trial...I wont be happy until I hear murder 1 verdict from the jury!

State rests rebuttal case - thread #170

Great post! I really hope the jury understands that premeditation can be formed in an instant - and whether the gunshot came first or the stab to the heart came first doesnt matter one bit. Everyone agrees that Travis was not dead when he was standing at the sink asperating blood into the sink...

State rests rebuttal case - thread #167

The place he works for is getting paid for his testimony, who in turn pays his salary. This is his job - to testify against the prosecution in a court case.
