Any resolution in this murder case? All previous posts indicate an arrest. Was there a trial? An extremely violent murder with 120 stab wounds, an eyewitness - and it took almost 60 years to solve?

It is difficult to draw solid conclusions based on simply the number of shots. While the fact that Audrey was shot 5 times with the others one or two times might indicate that the perpetrator was more focused on her, it could mean also that he was a poor shot or that she fought back more, or...

Possibly. There could be other similar cases as well. Clearly this was an attack of opportunity on a child by a pervert or pedophile. This murder was not an isolated or "one off" incident. The perpetrator had probably murdered both before and after killing little Stevie.

50 years ago this family was murdered and the case is still unsolved.

Could this murder be related or connected to other similar ones? In May, this unsolved case will be 60 years old.
