Maybe the bones are fragments, with no usable DNA? There are missing people and children in that zip code, would they all be investigated for a possible match to these remains? :(
Couldn't find a newspaper article about this, poor woman found in a blanket, bound with duct tape, in the Chicago river. Anymore info on this? Poor poor woman :(
I found this type by searching brass ear hooks, I cannot find an exact ear hook on the internet This earring or necklace had beads, I'm sure. I wish there was more information about this person. :(
I wonder how old the victim was. She had graying roots but some people grow grey hair young. How can we get the DNA Doe Project involved in this? I thought we would be seeing mass Doe identifications with their help this year but I think the pandemic delayed a lot of testing all over.
I hope that person was unidentified. How can we get more information on these bones? Can we request reports for unknown decedents? I spotted another error today on Namus, city was spelled wrong but these description errors can leave these people unidentified for longer. How long after does...
I wrote to an investigator in 2016 about this description error in NAMUS, she didn't see the error right away. When I wrote back and pointed it out,I never heard back. Can we request reports from the Chicago Medical Examiner on unidentified persons?
