I hope he isn't that stupid. Clearly he had to know that he wasn't legally married to her.

Whatever I happened I tend to believe two things:

1. Nick had something to do with it
2. The something may have been accidental.

Thus all of his guilt. I am purely speculating, as I have no facts to back anything up. Just a gut feeling. :)

I'm sincerely hoping it was the latter .... an accident.

Why I'm giving NG the benefit of the doubt. When I was a poster on WS a few years back, a murder had occurred in our area. The woman was a divorcee and she had a boyfriend that lived in another area. She was walking along a blacktop rural road talking to her boyfriend on a cellphone when she was kidnapped (she was heard saying, "please don't take me"). She was missing for several weeks and most every poster on WS blamed the boyfriend for her predicament .... I didn't think it was the boyfriend (= no motive, they had not dated long enough to have any sort of issues etc). But I was mainly alone and I never changed my mind about the boyfriend's innocence. Long story short, turned out it was a local pervert that had kidnapped and killed her .... LE and locals searched the area for many weeks but her brother, being a helicopter pilot, found her remains in a shallow grave. The kidnapper and killer later shot himself. This is the reason I give NG the benefit of the doubt.

I don't think he purposely did anything. BK was supposedly very heavily involved with drugs. There are accusations that she did heroin, too. It was on Radaronline, I believe. IMO she was probably stoned and this was a tragic accident, just like WH.

IMPRESSIONS OF A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC WATCHING THE DR. PHIL SHOW: Nick completely pickled and numb right now. NOT a good actor, just trying to get the thing over with, by agreeing to come on the show knows he is susposed to give people something to talk about..complete BS..fake hyperventilating...good looking kid, beautiful eyes, imagine BK could have been mesmerized by him, feel his denial about BK is real, think he will genuinely be devastated when it all sinks in, when he is sober and will have to face the pain...immature, pain will be narcissistic but it will be real howling pain...keeping him in rehab through the whole detox will be difficult, he will probably manage to run away, not able to voluntarily face the pain. He hasn't reached his bottom yet, there may not be any bottom, but he is a genuine alcoholic/addict and he is way too messed up to be plotting some diabolical plan to get lots of money, he and Krissy have been living in the moment, used to getting lots of attention without having to put out anything. All that will change now and I sincerely hope the kid doesn't self destruct. Although he and his mother may have gone on this show for the wrong reasons, I hope going to treatment will be the lifesaver he desparately needs. IMO he does not behave like someone with anything to hide, does not behave like a guilty person. I personally think there is no good reason for them not letting him see Krissy. If it were my child I would be trying anything. I certainly would have brought him to her bedside to see if by some miracle she could respond to his voice. If anything would make her respond I think he would. The fact that BB is using his power and control to prevent him from seeing her tells me a lot about his intentions. The families are there to protect the money and this kid is on another planet.

OK. I watched the entire Dr. Phil/Nick Gordon interview/vention. I jotted down a few things that seemed "notable" to me.

* NG's mother always refers to him as "Nicholas". I've only heard/read him called "Nick".

* Nick met Bobbi Kristina when she was 12. They apparently became "good friends" at that time. NG moved in with Whitney and Bobbi Kristina when he was 18 and had just graduated from high school.

* Dr. Phil suggests "psychiatric commitment" of her son to Nick's mother.

* Dr. Phil suggests "medically supervised" rehab for Nick Gordon.

* Nick Gordon pleads emotionally to Dr. Phil, "Help me see Krissi!".

* Staff from Willingway Rehab Center appear on the show to help escort Nick Gordon to rehab.

* At some point, Whitney, Bobbi Kristina, and Nick Gordon checked in to rehab together.

As I surmised based on various video clips and articles about the Dr. Phil interview/intervention, this show was all about getting Nick Gordon into a "safe place" with a bona fide mental health defense in the event that he is eventually charged with Bobbi Kristina's demise. I don't doubt that NG has drug and/or alcohol issues, but that isn't what this staged interview was about. NG and his mother are :scared: that he will be charged in Bobbi Kristina's drowning, and they are desperately trying to find a way to avoid the worst. Shame on Dr. Phil for giving Nick (and his mother) this platform for his defense. :moo:

No personal opinions from me at this point except to say "what a crock" this all seems. Anyways, this is what I've gathered from watching this farce of a Dr. Phil interview/intervention so far:

-- Per NG's Mother, he went to reside and travel with WH in 2008 at age 18.

-- Per NG's Mother, he was in another hotel room when he heard a ruckus and went into WH's hotel room, saw her, and she believes performed CPR. At the end of the show they include a statement saying he did not perform CPR on WH.

-- NG's Mother said WH went into Rehab taking BK and NG with her. Dr. Phil said that was the first time he's heard someone taking a posse to rehab. Not sure if BK or NG were taken along because they needed rehab too.

-- From what NG's Mother thinks she understands, BK and NG had an argument early Saturday morning. NG went to a separate bedroom or place, and BK was alone in her bedroom/bathroom and prepared a "bubble" bath. Cable Guy came, Max found BK in tub. NG performed CPR for 15 minutes before help arrived.

-- Dr. Phil goes to get NG. NG says he had 2 shots of liquor that morning before show and some Xanax. MOO, he sure is acting drunk on only 2 shots.

-- NG bad acting, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, Mommy!"

-- "Don't tell me to Man Up!" says NG. Dr. Phil says, "I just did."

I do remember this case and watched on TV programs.............

I certainly agree with the fact that WH death was not fully investigated. Her autopsy looks like a lady that didn't just die of an OD and fall into a scalding hot tub. Why so many SECRETS? because no one wanted her reputation ruined by being a good girl image?
BBM I think accident was put on death certificate.
Burger and beers always screamed 'male' to me.
so NG tried CPR..............lie........but was he there? paniced? saw it all? why was NG in her room when she was nude??? boy toy???

I'm not sure why you think her death wasn't well investigated. She did not have to OD in order to fall into a bathtub. From reading the report, there didn't appear to be evidence of violence. They did check under her fingernails. She had no petichiae that would indicate forcible drowning.

According to the autopsy report:

"Immediate Cause": Drowning
"Due to, or as a consequence of:" Atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use

There are 5 boxes the coroner was allowed to check:
Natural
Suicide
Homicide
Accident
Could Not Be Determined

He checked accident. He could not check "natural" because there was cocaine in her system. He did not check "suicide" because he saw no evidence of purposeful overdose, he found no evidence of homicide, and he ruled out "could not be determined."

When people use cocaine, they put themselves at risk for heart damage over time, as well as a fatal cardiac arrhythmia. It seems like the coroner believed the cocaine caused the cardiac event, which often results in the person losing consciousness. Additionally, because of her obvious heart disease secondary to chronic cocaine use, it increased her risk of the heart not being able to return to a normal rhythm without outside intervention. If this happens to you in a bathtub, there is a distinct possibility that you will drown.

What parts of the autopsy are problematic for you that you believe it does not explain her death?

Thanks for watching! I agree with you!

So much for HIPAA laws. Dr. Phil divulged the name of the facility that will provide Nick Gordon's rehab.

http://www.willingway.com/

Dr. Phil is not a licensed therapist in California. Therefore he is not "treating" Nick. In this instance, he is no more than a talk show host, so he cannot violate HIPAA. He can certainly violate a confidence, or be perceived as unethical.

I wonder if anyone from the Brown or Houston families will comment on Nick Gordon's appearance with Dr. Phil? I hope Dr. Phil hasn't been trying to arrange for Nick to see Bobbi Kristina against the wishes of her father and/or other family members. I'm afraid that this was, in part, the purpose of the TV interview: Embarrass Bobby Brown into allowing Nick Gordon to visit with Bobbi Kristina. :moo:

I'm not referring to Dr. Phil. There were spokespersons for Willingway Rehab on the set to escort Nick Gordon to their treatment center.

As I suspected. I think this was an attempt to make himself seem more important in that scenario than he actually was. You know, valiant attempt to save her life, look how important I was to "the greatest singing legend in history," etc.

-- "Don't tell me to Man Up!" says NG. Dr. Phil says, "I just did."

Sometimes I like Dr. Phil and other times he drives me nuts. I liked him when he said that.

Oh, ok. Because you said "Dr. Phil divulged the name of the facility," I thought you were referring to Dr. Phil.

Did the spokespersons say anything, or were they simply filmed interacting with NG? I didn't see all of it.

I couldn't agree more
