CHILLICOTHE (Michele Newell/Sean Rowe) -- A joint news conference by the Columbus Division of Police and Ross County Sheriff's Office Monday is expected to detail expanding efforts to find women who've disappeared from the Chillicothe area.

"The agencies will be kicking off a joint initiative alongside businesses, social services, faith-based groups and the families of the missing and deceased women," the Chillicothe Police Department posted to its Facebook page Sunday.

It's a good article. I just feel like now it's out there. "If you want to kill someone, come to south west Ohio!"

It could be possible for either trafficking or for drugs. They go hand in hand. Get her hooked on heroin or something, make her have sex, she needs more drugs to numb having sex and so on and so forth. Where I work many clients have come in doing some sort of sex work for drugs for them and/or their partners.

Makes sense since Tiffany was missing since early May and based on description of body she must have been recently deceased so she must have been held somewhere for some reason.

Did someone mention rehab? I wondered if Tameka had been to rehab too? Did these two girls know each other?

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Police are investigating a possible lead into the disappearances of six women – and the deaths of at least four of them – after another near-victim killed a man about two hours away.

Neal Falls, 45, of Springfield, Oregon, began attacking a woman in Charleston, West Virginia Saturday night after the two had arranged to meet through a website often used to arrange prostitution, according to police.

The women are: (top row, left to right) Tiffany Sayre, Charlotte Trego and Wanda Lemons and (bottom row, left to right) Tameka Lynch, Shasta Himelrick and Timberly Claytor."

Tiffany Sayre's family were told her funeral would be paid for by the state's Victims Compensation Fund. Now, the attorney general has decided that, since there were drugs in her body, the state won't pay.

She was taped and bound. She was obviously a crime victim.

Totally disgusting that Ohio is violating the spirit of the VCF by billing the family. Sounds like a good project for change.org

Do they know the drugs were ingested voluntarily? This is shameful. They've debased her victim status, which tells me that like so many others, Tiffany's murder has been tossed on the far back burner.

A documentary that looks at the investigation into six Chillicothe-area women who went missing or died since May 2014 has announced an air date.

Investigation Discovery (ID) network worked with law enforcement, loved ones of the victims, and the community to document the investigations as they unfold in an effort to bring further attention and help in solving these open cases.

The first serialized docuseries for ID, the six-part series "The Vanishing Women" will premiere at 10 p.m. June 6.

Tiffany Sayre’s body was found taped and in a culvert last May in Highland County, a couple of miles away from where Lynch was found. Her death was ruled a homicide. Their families continue to suffer.

“It is eating away at us! Not knowing anything, and knowing there are people that know what happened. Why won’t they come forward?” said Robinson.

I stand corrected. The justice for Tiffany Facebook page has been documenting new missing women/found diseased women since 2018.
