Might just be loose reporting, but why would the Ferniedayle police be investigating a homicide when the body was found in Detroit? Unless there's evidence the crime occurred at Lily's residence or otherwise in Ferndale; which it doesn't sound like that's the case at all.

Seem to recall talk that Floyd Galloway Jr. was seen snaking around an abandoned house in Detroit around the time Danielle Stislicki went missing.

There are numerous vacant homes in Detroit. Serious efforts are underway to board up vacant properties.

Why is Route 94 Wellness Center marked on the map?

She was headed to the casino. There's no information about police locating her vehicle. There is information about police identifying her body on July 7. Her body was located in Wayne County, which is where the casino is also located.

Good question! The article I cited above states the black ford edge crashed at I-94 and Conner (where the two men were found shot). I tried to put that intersection into google maps and google took me to Root 94 Wellness Center, which is right off I-94 on Conner. I was trying to show that Lily's body and the car crash/homicide were found not far from each other, implying that perhaps the two incidents were related. Sorry if I wasn't clear!

If you read back, there is discussion regarding Lily selling "edibles". The edibles are not actually sold, but gifted when you buy a pair of socks. Difficult to explain in a way that makes sense, so best to read back.

East side of Detroit is notorious gang territory, especially south of seven mile and between Gratiot and Kelly.

Seems likely she knew (or maybe someone thought she knew) something related to her boyfriend's murder, and that's why they wanted her dead.

Also, retaliation for her disappearance could have had people on the lookout for her vehicle and the two men at 94/Connor just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, in the wrong vehicle.

To me this seems to be about dealing drugs. Gangs will kill to protect their turf and money. If the dead bf and Lily were perceived to be infringing, that would be a very dangerous game to play. There's likely more to it, but I'll bet this will play out.
