this to me is evidence that KB was experiencing the effects of being in a relationship with a monster, and was taking responsibility for her symptoms herself. Abusers will prevent you from sleeping, keep you from doing anything to take care of yourself, and don't forget the head trips, gaslighting, manipulation, guilt trips, and other sources of psychological abuse. I would assume she was probably sleep deprived from baby, as is common, and he surely used this to kick her while she was down. My own ex-abuser used to lie next to me and whisper mean and horrible things in my ear while I was nursing my daughter down for a nap - he knew I couldn't move, couldn't walk away, and couldn't reply. So he could say anything he wanted to me and I could do nothing about it.

PF's continual abuse of Kelsey may have been a major factor in her attending the Clinic.

I found myself thinking tonight about Patrick and that tale of Kelsey getting bopped in the nose.

It reminded me of how Statement Analysis talks about guilty people leaking marbles about their crimes.

They just can't help themselves as they tell parts of their guilty deeds.

Patrick had to spill what he had done because he was actually proud of hitting Kelsey in the face.

He'll tell much more in the future and we can count on it.

*Trial continues (Day 9) (@ 8:30am MT) - CO – Kelsey Berreth (29) (last seen Nov. 22, 2018, Woodland Park; phone pinged 800 miles away in Gooding, Idaho on 11/25/18 @ 5:13pm, reported missing Dec. 2, 2018; not found) – *Patrick Michael Frazee (32) “fiancé” arrested (12/21/18), charged (12/31/18) & arraigned (4/8/19) with 2 counts 1st degree murder (to align with the prosecution’s theories on how he did it), 3 counts of solicitation to commit 1st degree murder, 1st degree felony murder (death during attempted robbery) and charged (4/5/19) with 2 counts of crime of violence (sentence enhancer). Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will not seek DP.
Trial began on Monday, 10/28 with jury selection, trial started on 11/1. Trial is expected to last 3 weeks (thru 11/18/19). Jurors: 7 women & 5 men; alternates: 2 women & 2 men.

11/13/19 Day 8: State witnesses: Carolyn Sharp (flight instruction-co-worker @ DOSS). Robert Hill III (flight instructor-former co-worker @ DOSS). Jennifer Barks (DOSS Aviation HR officials). Caitlin Rogers (forensic scientist for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation) retakes the stand. Sue Gorner (former town home owner). Dr. Diane France (forensic anthropologist). CBI Agent Chris Adams (who says they didn’t find anything in the Midway Landfill search). Caitlin Rogers (forensic scientist for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, who specializes in forensic serology & DNA analysis). Prosecutors on pace to rest tomorrow or Friday. “We’re down to our last few witnesses,” DA Dan May says. If timeline holds, closing arguments could be Friday afternoon, defense says. Trial continues on 11/14.
*Child: Review hearing on 12/5/19.
*Krystal Jean Lee (Kenney) – Plea deal-plead guilty to 1 count of tampering with physical evidence, a class 6 felony, with an open sentence. Will testify at Frazee’s trial. Review hearing on 12/2. That will NOT be a sentencing date. Assuming the trial is complete, she will report to probation on that day with sentencing scheduled for 8 weeks after that. Judge Sells says if the trial is delayed, he plans to just delay that review hearing as needed.

One aside from Sam's recap - Chris Adams, who is now a CBI agent and one of the lead investigators from this case. He testified that Woodland Park police had reviewed police station cameras and saw NO child custody exchanges between KB and PF. PF had been telling people that Baby K custody exchanges were made at the police station. There was nothing on camera to indicate that. (My note: Probably because there were no "custody" exchanges because Kelsey thought any "exchanges" taking place likely at their homes were just normal working parent child care arrangements with her fiance.)

I fully expect the prosecution to drop another bomb before this is all over. One last earth shattering revelation that the jury can take with them when it comes time to deliberate. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that occurred tomorrow.

This might be it, or hopefully, a runner up:

PF made up a ridiculous story to his friend, regarding Kelsey having multiple nose bleeds and getting blood all over his clothes and boots.

This was shortly before his arrest, after the murder. The fact that he was apparently really concerned about all of this, tells me one thing:

LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS HIS CLOTHES AND BOOTS.

We know he washed his clothes, and I’m not sure about the viability of obtaining DNA after that.

But those boots would be a different matter entirely. Kelsey’s blood shouldn’t be on them, because that nosebleed story is not only ridiculous, it was clearly a lie.

Blood on those boots would be huge.

Together with the mop and sheets - could there be both his DNA and hers? She wasn’t allowed in his house based on the testimony where she had to be on the porch- so how to explain this? Plus computer and his phone - are there text messages or emails to his buddies ? If he started thinking about killing her in April - and met with a lawyer in August regarding custody - do they have evidence of when he made the decision to kill? I would not be surprised at all

I would love it if DA May did a slideshow of pictures with KB and her family with some of her Pinterest - it would allow the jurors to get to know her just a bit better IMO - I do think they seem to be asking insightful questions so far - I will be here off and on

Holy smokes! I didn't even think about the teeth that are unaccounted for in trial testimony. Now my mind is spinning again. Hope today is a major SHUT THE DOOR and SWALLOW THE KEY type of day for PF.

Experts say blood from home overwhelmingly matches Berreth

Under questioning Rogers said the following samples yielded the following results:

• Blood evidence from Kelsey's tub showed a mixture of two people. It’s much more likely (46 times septillion) to be Kelsey's and an unknown individual than two unknown individuals. She says it’s also 100,000 times more likely to be Sue Gorney and an unknown individual than two unknown individuals. The prosecutor asked, "Is it fair to say Kelsey is the main contributor?" Rogers says yes.
• A possible blood sample from the front fireplace came back with a partial DNA profile that was 100 septillion times more likely to be from Kelsey than from anyone else. Again, strong evidence Kelsey is the main contributor.
• In regards to samples from the baby gate, Rogers said she did a presumptive blood test that came back positive and is also 100 septillion times more likely to be from Kelsey than from anyone else. Again, strong evidence Kelsey is the main contributor.
