Pfft... PF is wayyyyy too much of a cheapskate to actually hire a real PI. Besides the fact that his love for his daughter is totally bogus -- his "concern" is based solely on power/control, not a wee bit of genuine care, shes a cute little possession in his eyes -- I cannot imagine him taking the time to research and retain a professional. He is a coddled, entitled brat who has always had a woman to rely on, to take care of him. PF has NEVER lived independently of his mama / been without a female companion to lean on.

IF anyone followed KB, I would put my money on this "friend" of his.

With that being said, narcs love to insert a shred of truth into their web of bs lies. I too doubt the existence of these pictures, but I don't discount PF asking his "friend" to check up on KB. Perhaps something like.... asking him to peek in KB's windows, to see if she had anyone over, if KB didn't answer PF's text or call fast enough to his liking, or maybe having someone sit in Doss's parking lot to watch KB... after receiving a phone call where she says she's running late to pick up the baby bc she has dinner plans with a co-worker. (Can you imagine how overcome with anger and jealousy he'd be??!? How dare she socialize after work. Respectable mothers don't do such things. Only a prostitute, immoral woman would.)

I wouldn't put stalking (by way of a "friend") past PF.

One aside from Sam's recap - Chris Adams, who is now a CBI agent and one of the lead investigators from this case. He testified that Woodland Park police had reviewed police station cameras and saw NO child custody exchanges between KB and PF. PF had been telling people that Baby K custody exchanges were made at the police station. There was nothing on camera to indicate that. (My note: Probably because there were no "custody" exchanges because Kelsey thought any "exchanges" taking place likely at their homes were just normal working parent child care arrangements with her fiance.)

All of PF's friends, family members, and acquaintances thought PF and KB had broken up and that KB was a crazy, unstable, alcoholic who didn't want to be a mother and who would regularly take off and leave PF in care of the baby. All of KB's family and friends thought PF and KB were engaged or married, spoke very highly of her disposition and work ethic, and said that she loved being a mother. One testified that she never drank when they went out as a group. There's a bigger reason that PF didn't want to go to the Doss Christmas party and it has nothing to do with attire. He didn't want anyone beside Kelsey to think the two of them were engaged. As long as PF was able to keep his two worlds separate, he was able to control the narrative. What a manipulative piece of garbage, to put it as delicately as I can. May he rot in jail for the rest of his miserable life. MOO

I think the person flying in will be from the Depression and Anxiety Program she stayed at. It has connections to her religion. I think that would debunk PF’s claims of alcoholism and other psychiatric conditions. That would put to rest the lies that PF has spread about her. I can’t imagine being in her shoes and not knowing why she is not accepted and why people are not friendly to her. The treatment from PF’s family and friends was probably atrocious.

You know, this made something occur to me. A doctor or psychiatrist (or whatever) from that facility, could perhaps testify as to what she told them.

I think the fact that Kelsey has no history of substance abuse has been put to bed, as we know that the facility doesn’t treat that sort of thing in the first place. There wouldn’t be a need for someone from there to repeat that.

But someone from that facility could still be called. She may have said some things.

I suspect KB started growing suspicious of PF. Her Pinterest posts tell me she knew the honeymoon was over. The cracks in the relationship could no longer be ignored, things he said just weren't adding up, perhaps she even caught him in small lies. Who knows. I think KB hoped for the best but ultimately knew he wasn't the person who he said he was. We all eat lies when our hearts are hungry for love.
Those quotes on her Pinterest are extremely telling... I think the picture was becoming clearer -- he was a philandering abuser who was gaslighting her. This case has many hallmarks of classic DV / abuse. She probably loved him dearly in her heart but recognized he was not to be trusted. That's just my opinion as a woman who has dated a PF type. Whatever story he was peddling about being non-committal was long past it's due date. She wasn't seeing any real action on PF's part to change those circumstances, and I think PF knew he was losing his grip and stood a real chance of being outed to everyone in his life as a lying piece of excrement when she inevitably won sole custody and took that baby away from him. MOO MOO

I don't see how anyone at this point could believe Kelsey was anything other than a normal, hard-working young mother.

Patrick's plot to discredit her has been laid out so clearly by his friends and customers. It was diabolical.

Even if someone comes from the treatment center, I would expect testimony to be short and to the point.

So I'm convinced DA May has more of a blockbuster set up for the end of the trial.

Leaving the jury (and us) with nothing about Patrick's clothes and/or boots seems cruel.:(

I'm also sure we're going to get some texts and/or taped phone calls tomorrow.

Call me crazy but I think another visit from KK would round things out (no pun intended, GK)!

    Oh, to be there!

Oh yeah. We have a clear picture of who he is, and a clear picture of who Kelsey was.

My thinking is that perhaps someone from that clinic could testify as to the dynamic between the two, based on what Kelsey told them.

It would be so powerful to have words come from her, if only from beyond the grave.

Perhaps some things she recounted, like verbal abuse or threats. The fact that we didn’t hear about any testimony (like I’m speculating on) at the pre-trial hearing, makes me think that this is unlikely.

    But you never know.

We've sure seen how much we think we know and don't!

Who would ever have thought Patrick would be driving here, there and everywhere confessing?

If you were DA May what witness would you want the jury to hear right before they go back (for that 2 hour deliberation)?

I fully expect the prosecution to drop another bomb before this is all over. One last earth shattering revelation that the jury can take with them when it comes time to deliberate. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that occurred tomorrow.

This might be it, or hopefully, a runner up:

PF made up a ridiculous story to his friend, regarding Kelsey having multiple nose bleeds and getting blood all over his clothes and boots.

This was shortly before his arrest, after the murder. The fact that he was apparently really concerned about all of this, tells me one thing:

LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS HIS CLOTHES AND BOOTS.

We know he washed his clothes, and I’m not sure about the viability of obtaining DNA after that.

But those boots would be a different matter entirely. Kelsey’s blood shouldn’t be on them, because that nosebleed story is not only ridiculous, it was clearly a lie.

Blood on those boots would be huge.

    Yep, I think that's it!

No great storyteller (and DA May is certainly one of those) would leave an audience hanging without the big pay-off.

I just don't think that story would have been included in testimony if it wasn't going somewhere.

Let's hope nobody asks Frazee to try on the boots a la OJ!

(I've seen many forensics shows where just washing clothes with detergent and no bleach doesn't cleanse them of DNA. We'll see. Hey, maybe Ma F saw the bloody clothes and washed them. More reason to take the 5th?)

    Interesting:
"But given the improvements in police forensics today, would putting your blood-stained shirt through the washing machine be enough to destroy the evidence? You might think that if you use a really, really good laundry liquid and your shirt comes out spot-free then that would be enough. Use a top-notch bleach and you’ll be in the clear. But will you?

The answer is both yes…and no…

It all depends on what kind of bleach you use. There are two types of bleach; chlorine based bleaches and what are known as oxygen beaches. Chlorine bleaches can clean bloodstains so that they will no longer be visible to the eye, but they won’t stand up to deeper forensic investigation. If luminol or phenolphthalein is applied to the clothing then, even after multiple washes, if blood haemoglobin is present it will become very clear. The luminol is sprayed onto the fabric and will glow its trademark luminescent blue (hence the name) if a catalyst is present. This catalyst is the haemoglobin in blood.

However, if oxygen bleaches (bleaches containing an oxidising agent such as hydrogen peroxide) are used then it’s another matter. In these cases, any haemoglobin is totally removed and can’t be detected. This is a bit of a headache for investigators as any lingering stain which might happen to remain on the fabric which is being looked at can’t be definitively identified as being blood, so the suspect can claim that it came from a totally innocent source. Forensic experts are currently researching ways to overcome this problem."

I was really surprised nothing was mentioned today about the tarp with the dark stain.

Maybe that will come tomorrow too though they did say nothing of value came from the landfill.

Odd that they brought it up in the first place.

So basically you’re saying that the next time I get a nose bleed, or commit murder, I need to use Oxiclean?

Boy, if Billy Mays was still alive, I could see him making that pitch:

Hi! Billy Mays here for OxiClean, the stain specialist, powered by the air you breathe, activated by the water that you and I drink. It’s Mother Nature-approved and it’s safe on your colored fabrics.

As a stain remover, it’s the best! Grass stains, clay stains, even massive blood stains! Long live your laundry! OxiClean, the stain specialist.“
