If SF was never called to testify, why was she sequestered during this whole trial? something not adding up for me there...
Because Ma was on the witness list, she was not permitted to sit in the gallery during the trial.
People who might be called as witnesses aren't allowed to sit in on the trial until after they testify.
This is but one of the DA's numerous brilliant moves.

He kept Ma's name on the prosecution's witness list throughout the trial.

She wasn't permitted to enter the courtroom.
Well, that's not entirely accurate.
She was allowed in for opening statements, and then "escorted out" immediately thereafter.

Something tells me, Ma's going to need to get used to being "escorted out" of the courtroom.

In fact, I anticipate her being escorted both in and out of the courtroom with some frequency in the not- too-distant future, given what we learned on Friday.

JMO.

I SO hope you’re right! Seeing those words from you gives me great hope....you have an amazing track record for being right!

Perhaps they actually thought they would need her until the Paper Towel Tales overwhelmingly tipped the scales!

Or maybe the team just had some fun knowing she was out there wandering the halls wringing her hands over what was to come.

I agree that an "Escourt Service" is Ma F's destiny!

If I were on the jury, I would vote guilty because I would fear having this guy free and knowing my name could easily go on his list!

With Patrick locked up I think these jurors will still worry and I'll be surprised if we see many of them doing TV interviews.

I'm bummed about that because I'd love to hear how much they've laughed these past few weeks. :p

Question:

I’m confused on the jury instructions. I thought they’d been given to the jury on Friday or maybe that was just deciding on what the instructions (and charges) would be without the jury present. I was under the assumption that we only had closing arguments left for tomorrow. I’m sure someone can tell me ..... thank you!

Something to ponder: while PF was drafting his Bountiful Confessions, careful to include only the most sensitive information, JD was apparently streetwise enough NOT to answer in kind. He must have answered in spoken fashion, because with what we know, there's only one author of the Moron Chronicles. You can't make up that kind of stupid.

MOO

I don't think you are off track. I mean, isn't law enforcement under an obligation to investigate further? I would think the people on the hit list would demand it.

was there any mention of whether PF actually had any prior history with Mr. Bentley? to attempt this conspiracy with a total stranger seems even more irrational than with some one he might have known in some capacity.

I wouldn't mind seeing an additional arrest, right there in the courthouse. Conspiracy/Solicitation of murder. Just sayin'. Oh and without bail/bond. Something fitting about matching stripes.

MOO

I'm learning a lot about requirements legally to prosecute murder-for-hire and solicitation. Oxygen channel has a television program on right now called murder-for-hire.

Some similarities to this case. Someone that he was working with started working with the government and then he was put into jail. Then he put out a hit on the three witnesses from jail, including the person that helped put him in jail and his wife, and one of the law enforcement guys.

I'm not aware of any history between the two of them. I just think he is that delusional and he thinks he is so important that anyone will jump when he says jump and ask how high.
