Law & Order SVU made mention of the rape kits in Alabama sitting in storage for years waiting to be tested, and that most these cases haven’t has any resolution because of it. JMO

Just wanted to add that Neuro-Psych doc is considered a specialist. Often they do ADHD testing on adults and kids. Generally they do not have a clinical practice but it would not be out of their scope to prescribe ADD meds. However, as you say...very true that you almost have to offer your first born to get Desoxyn.
 
Yesterday, I broke my foot. (Will gladly accept sympathy:)
Next to child birth, have never been in so much pain.
The ER doc offered to prescribe pain meds.
After being on this thread, I was like "H*** NO!"
Im sticking to Aleve...but lots of it!

Apparently they did according to the DA, but oddly in this specific case, there were no others to back up what PH's bar buddies gave for witness accounts, which occurs in other similar cases, thus, it is all they have to work with and he, the DA, also referenced about no facts to go on with other supposed connections prior to the case or currently. This was an extremely insightful interview with the DA, imo. The interviews main agenda was to get the DA's evidence of how Paighton came across the likes of FH.

LOL! I was in the same boat, I’m 9mos and due any day, I broke my tailbone a couple days after Christmas and was offered oxy when I was at the hospital and I was like “No way! I’ll stick to epsome salt baths and Tylenol!” Extremely painful but with all the stuff going on with pills these days I’d rather just stay away. I hope you’re feeling better tho!

I agree. And a negative result doesn't clear him. Is testing for DNA part of the process? Checking for multiple perps?
I wonder why the late decision to do this.

Wow. This could shed a different light on things.
I wish LE or media would name the others at the McLain St.
Considering this and the recent information about the rape kit, maybe LE is building a circumstantial evidence case for additional charges against FH and/or others. Wishing.
 
I don’t think anyone here is victim bashing or bashing on CH. The loss of a child or a loved one is unbearable and it feels like the stages of grief are intensified (imo) denial and blame are huge in the grief process. Grieving is a type of pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone, not just it emotionally hard but you can experience physical symptoms like feeling your heart is about to pound out of your chest, tried, sometimes lethargic, hard to eat or sleep, then add the emotional hell on top of it, you don’t think clearly. It’s so hard and difficult. So I do feel for CH and my heart hurts for her. I’ve been there, I’m still going thru the stages of grief and it’s been 4 years, it takes time, my loss was my ex husband who died of a fentanyl heroin overdose and I blamed everyone but him for his own drug use because I didn’t want to believe it, I would have rather thought something else happened then him doing it to himself. There is people here who can relate to CH and the whole accidental overdoses of a loved one or child, there is people here who have been addicted themselves and knew the risks of using or relapsing. PH wasn’t a little girl, she knew what she was doing and she knew the risks, she wasn’t incapable of knowing right from wrong and she was in the hospital (2018?) prior due to the use of drugs and it almost killing her, she was an educated woman. You make your own choices in the life you live. Like I said a billion times, it’s messed up that she was buried rather than helped or 911 called and she didn’t deserve that, at all.

with all due respect, I never at all said she was to blame. I was saying the grieving process is a b**** and that I feel for what the mom is going thru as the grieving process sucks.
I feel like you keep saying people are blaming and not fully understanding what is being posted? Maybe I’m interpreting wrong? I guess I’m confused?

not everyone who is grieving experiences all of these reactions, and not everyone experiences them in the same order.

Ugh can’t help myself have to jump in to point out that everyone grieves in their own way. We don’t know CH. It is not fair to assume or guess where she is in her grieving process. She could have skipped denial and jumped straight to anger. She could be focused on justice for her daughter and not even begun to grieve yet. But wherever she is in the aftermath of her daughters death her feelings, her thoughts, her questions are all valid. She has absolutely every right to get to the entire truth about what happened that night.
Heidi Brussard’s mother is dealing with the worst possible shock in discovering her daughters bff of more than 20 years kidnapped her granddaughter and murdered her daughter. That shock and grief has not stopped her from speaking out and seeking the truth and she seems pretty clear headed to me.
Aniah Blanchard’s Mom, I can’t even imagine her grief. Yet she is taking that grief and turning it into something positive with her new bill movement in Aniahs name.

JMHO

ETA:It’s amazing what all these strong willed loving moms can do in the midst of the worst grief imaginable in losing your daughter.
