I’m sort of new to this, just usually follow along on cases silently. Only posted a few times. But.... What about Tiffany Sessions? I realize the she would have been held before she was killed. But the weight and height are exact. Plus she has a strong resemblance. I know they thought she was part of a serial killers killing, but they’ve never found her body or could really prove it. Just thought they looked eerily similar. Tiffany Louise Sessions – The Charley Project
Interesting, TS's lower front tooth is chipped..

Totally possible. From where Michelle was last seen in TX to where this Jane Doe was found in NC, it's over 1,000 miles. But Highway 322 in Texas, where Michelle was last seen, feeds directly to I-20, and from there it's an easy drive to NC.

The thing is, according to NamUs, this Jane Doe was estimated to have died 4 days prior, whereas Michelle was last seen a year and a half prior. You never know, though.

Does anybody have an updated list of rule outs? Can't get into my Namus

New information I haven't seen before is on her Doe Network profile.

"The fact that the victim's socks were noted to be very clean and the absence of footwear indicates her killer may have taken her shoes as a souvenir.

The unique design on the woman's shirt could not be identified by national investigation services such as the FBI and NCIS.

Despite intensive investigation and follow-up on hundreds of leads, her identity as well as that of her killer remains a mystery.

However, police noted a possible link between this case and other murders committed by a taxi driver. The man was arrested in Guilford County and was suspected to have murdered women in a similar way, merely months after this victim was killed. The man later committed suicide after declining an interview with Orange County officers.

The victim's remains were later cremated and buried at sea."

I don't understand why they would cremate and bury a murder victim at sea.

I will try to find anything on this taxi driver.

The detail about the killer possibly keeping her shoes as a trophy is interesting!

I found out who the taxi driver in question was. His name was Keith Allen Brown. He murdered a woman named Kathy Fogleman on Nov 3rd that same year. Interestingly she was also found on a church road but in Burlington, Mount Hope Church rd. Another woman, Pamela Hoy, remains were found not far from Fogleman's. She was missing since July. He had started working as a cab driver in August 1990.

CAB DRIVER ARRESTED IN WOMAN'S SLAYING

MURDER SUSPECT QUESTIONED IN OTHER DEATHS

"Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Department have questioned Brown about the death of an unidentified woman whose partially nude body was found in September off New Hope Church Road near Interstate 40 in Orange County.

The woman's sweat shirt was wrapped around her neck, and she was wearing only her socks. An autopsy on her partially decomposed body showed she might have been strangled, or had her throat slit."

"Based on findings in the Guilford County case, Brown is a possible suspect in the death of an unidentified woman found in Orange County in September, Shaver said. The partially nude body was found off New Hope Church Road near Interstate 40.

Brown has not admitted or denied involvement in the Orange County death, Shaver said.

Shaver is working with Orange County sheriff's detectives and doesn't know whether Brown is the only suspect in that death. Efforts to reach Orange County sheriff's detectives were unsuccessful Thursday

Found a few that aren't on the rule outs yet.

BODY IS MISSING ALAMANCE WOMAN

"Records from Red Bird Cab in Burlington show that Brown picked Fogleman up at her Martin Street home shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday to take her to the cocktail lounge at Best Western motel in Burlington, authorities said.

But lounge employees say they didn't see her there Saturday night, Fogleman's family said. An autopsy showed she probably had been sexually assaulted and run over by a car or truck, Guilford sheriff's detectives said."

So the cab company kept records. He was working for them when our Doe was killed. It happened in a different county. She was found 25-45 mins away from the locations of his crimes (Burlington is split in two counties; Alamance and Guilford). A possible sighting of her places her at a truck stop in one of those counties.

"In 1981, Brown stopped a woman who was walking from a convenience store in Graham and he asked if she wanted a ride, said Guilford Sheriff's Capt. Tom Sheppard.

Brown took her to a dirt road near the intersection of N.C. 61 and 62 in Guilford County. He sexually assaulted her, stabbed her and left her for dead at the side of the road. One stab wound collapsed her lung. She was able to walk to a nearby home for help.

Fortunately for detectives, Brown had given his victim his real name, Sheppard said. Alamance authorities had his photo and the victim identified him."
It seems so eerie! This could be something similar that happened to our Doe! A possible sighting places our Doe walking along NC 62, the same hwy the surviving victim was left for dead.

I found a missing person that has a surgical scar on her stomach. Missing May 1989. She's a little on the young side... She would be a few weeks from her 14th birthday the time she was found. And the ring.... I have always theorized her ring originally had a stone that went missing.

The NCMEC rendering looks like a child. Because of the shirt she was wearing too, I would assume she was under 20 years old. And her wisdom teeth were un-erupted. Is there really no DNA in this case? They cremated her remains? How are they supposed to get a match?!

I wonder what her ring size is.... If it's small could they have confirmed the remains were more likely a child under 18?

Newly listed to Charley. Posting just because some similarities. Now May to Sept is a stretch. And she had a child and it is speculated Orange co. doe did not.

Hi,
Regarding the pink “Sportswear” sweater with bunnies that this Jane Doe was wearing—perhaps it can be tracked back by its RN#. This could then lead to financial records, where it was available, e.t.c. Just a thought. Nobody has been able to find a match for the sweater she was wearing yet.

Sportswear
Attached is a link that ponders what brand “Sportswear” is. It appears on older clothing and is likely under an umbrella company of sorts.
If the sweater is still available as evidence, or if the RN# is out there, I wonder what can be done with it. I am someone that is very into vintage clothing and I know that you can dig up a lot of information from it.

There is very specific info about the sweatshirt amd the artist who made it earlier in this thread. It was mainly sold locally in michigan and may point to ties to Ann Arbor and the university there.
