I found an archived FBI page with what I believe is a revision of her digital FBI reconstruction paired with her skull. Since the recons made available are pixelated or otherwise poor quality, I figured I'd kill some time and see what I could get from the skull (although I'm still not the best at this).

Oh I like all the renderings but your rendering gave her more thick feathered hair and the new renderings give her hair a look like it's almost curly hair sprayed look. I don't know but that is what it looks to me.
What type of hair was she supposed to have?

I got ahold of the PM photo and the skull photo. I can't post either online, but here is my version of what she might have looked like.

Though she is very badly decomposed in the PM photo, I was able to see her hair and a single eyebrow, so I think I have her eybrows pretty close, and her hair color about right.

Oh this one is great too. Wow this girl has so many renderings. I like this which shows her teeth. Iam still confused at what here hair is supposed to look like. I still think her teeth look very similar to Valerie smiths

Can we talk about the difference in hair on these reconstructions? They described her hair on NamUs and I didn't think of either of the hairstyles I've seen so far...

Iam with you on the hair all of the reconstructions have different hair. Some make the girl Like she has feathered thick straight hair others look like it's sprayed curly hair. They are great but all look really different.

The PM photo shows only the hair on the top of her head, and on her right side above her ears. I can see that it is layered and frosted. Some portions are more blonde than others. Much of it is lost to decomposition, so I had to rely on the description that it was shoulder length.

No, the Jane Doe’s upper lateral incisors are twisted outward, and her upper central incisors are slightly twisted inward.

Valerie’s upper incisors pretty much face straight forward.

Oh I thought the laterals on Valerie looked like they twisted forward some and I guess the central right seems more inward than the left.
What had caught my eye was the chip in the middle. I guess how they say close but no cigar!!!. Thanks for explaining it to me. I posted the images together so you see what I was referring to.

Thoughts on Kimberly Norwood being a potential match? She looks similar to the victim, and the bunny sweatshirt makes me think she was probably on the younger side--also she was wearing a ring thought to be homemade like Kimberly's, and if you look at the ring found on the UID it looks like there could have once been a stone in there, like the one Norwood was last seen wearing--perhaps the aqua stone had fallen off? She also has a scar on her abdomen just like the UID.

I have been aware of her case since 2006. The first couple of recons (the face close-up black/white sketch, and clay bust) made her appear to be a much older woman than a teen/early 20's IMO. The clay bust also was displayed in a white button up for some reason when she was found in a pink sweatshirt. The hair always confused me too. Glad Carl was able to clear that up.

Another thing I found interesting was that she was deceased for approx. 3-6 days yet she was already so badly decomposed. Was there an initial cause for her to decompose so quickly? Or could it be the weather here in NC?

The two new recons are really good (Carl's and NCMEC) and I hope someone recognizes her soon. Was isotopes ever done on her? And could she be a possibility for Dna Doe project?

I've been doing some digging on this case and I've been considering Karen Anne Spencer as a possible match. She bears quite a resemblance to the UID, as well as similar weight and the same height. She was last seen on the side of the highway after arguing about moving away, which makes me wonder if that argument led her to hitch hike. She didn't want to live with her brother and his wife, so maybe she saw this as an opportunity to run away?

I’m sort of new to this, just usually follow along on cases silently. Only posted a few times. But.... What about Tiffany Sessions? I realize the she would have been held before she was killed. But the weight and height are exact. Plus she has a strong resemblance. I know they thought she was part of a serial killers killing, but they’ve never found her body or could really prove it.
