So the army notified the family or was that when they first realized she was missing? I wonder if that's when Robinson laughed in her face.

I also thought that was when they were told conflicting information about when she was last seen and what time she had been at work.

ETA According to the affidavit she was reported missing to CID on 4/23 by her unit.
^^
I wonder if the affidavit takes into account the statement that was retracted after the party admitted they were untruthful on the rollcall date?

Just sickening.

I'm curious to know when the last time was "he was accounted for" (as we used to say in the Marines), that day. The last time he stood in a formation or was accounted for in some, shape, or form at the end of his work day.
Yeah, I'm not sure if he was originally living in the barracks and had moved in with her recently but apparently she claimed he resided with her.

Because he is a specialist and not married, the Army gives him a barracks room. He can choose not to stay there but he will not receive any allowance for housing.

I'm sorry to keep asking dumb questions--but what does the motor pool have to do with repairing a machine gun?

She disappeared before she could complete the serial number task.

Affidavit: Guillen's body dismembered, burned after she was bludgeoned to death

"On April 22, Spc. Robinson said he texted Pfc. Guillen to inform her he was in the arms room. He said she read serial numbers for equipment and afterword, he gave her paperwork and the serial number for a .50 caliber machine gun which needed to be serviced.

Spc. Robinson said Pfc. Guillen left the arms room and he believed she would have gone to the motor pool. Witnesses at the motor pool prepared to receive paperwork from Pfc. Guillen stated she did not arrive with the paperwork.

Yea, what's up with V having to get machine gun paperwork from AR for the motor pool? Was motor pool was waiting for AR to account for a gun?

Thanks.

Edit:

Like I mentioned up thread, and it definitely applies with a M2 .50, there is the gun itself, in this case the .50 is the "gun", then you have to mount it to something. there are mounts kept in the armory, and in this case mounts on a vehicle. There there are parts to attach the gun to the vehicle mount. I recall there was a "pintle" to attach the .50 to, say, a medium truck or Humvee. All of it has to accounted for, the gun, the pintle/adapter, etc.

So sometimes there is leg work and maybe a phone call or two to get a gun and its adapter, or mount(s), or whatever checked out of the armory. and moved to where it needs to be. Or, paperwork is filled out then the move is done maybe later on that day or the next. Say for training.

Maybe it's the type of machine gun that is mounted to a vehicle?

I wanted to give some insight because I live here and also worked for several military families. From what I understand, the girlfriend lives in Temple, not Killeen. Temple is not next to killeen. The military families I worked for that lived in Temple had rules that they had to live within 30 miles of Ft.Hood. One family I worked for lived exactly 29 miles away. Depending on exactly where she lives in Temple, he might be living with her but still claiming the barracks as his residence.

Absolutely ALL of your post!
I’ve never seen TM talk out against any LE/military force before, so I was in shock, I think. It seems they fought them at every turn IMO.
And my jaw was on the ground when he stated that they LEFT evidence behind! Hopefully, there’s some logical explanation for this that only the military knows.

There are many WS members that know Tim personally and will often attest to how humble he is -- to the point of discounting his own efforts while constantly acknowledging the efforts of LE --who he deems the true, blue, professionals.

Relative to the Military presser, I expected them to decline to provide details or information to protect the ongoing investigation but I certainly did not expect the tone and constant denial of sexual harassment (or evidence of sexual assault) allegations -- even when it wasn't the question. It almost seemed like they collectively decided before the cameras rolled that denying any sexual harassment allegation was the purpose of their appearance.

I was disappointed that the only emotion I saw from anybody on the panel was when a spokesperson took the microphone to speak out against the harm to those that were wrongly accused or said connected to this horrific crime on social media. Really? Sure it's wrong but that happens every day.

I really think the CID and representatives from Ft Hood would have benefited from an image or PR professional on the panel.

I've not heard that before (said in Marines) but I like it, thank you.

i get that. But I guess Where I’m going at is, how long did they wait to check the Arms room? Was he able to clean up that quickly? Did anyone even go over there and look for her? Or did they just take his word that she left back, and they didn’t physically search? I know I’m being critical. I just feel like if my troop was missing, I would search all rooms before officially locking up.
I think the story we are getting in the affidavit is full of BS. That’s why it’s not making sense. The truth is probably simple. A sexually motivated abuse and murder. He enlisted his girlfriend to help after the fact and had to have a story she'd be ok with. MOO

That's how it was when I was in, even if someone unmarried was allowed to live off-base, they had to keep a room in the barracks with their gear and a place in the room (like a wall locker) to put uniforms in.

Listen at 29:20 to @leighEg of Crime Online tell what VG’s Mother told her VG said about sexual harassment.

1. There was a Sergeant following her while she jogged, making inappropriate comments.
2. There was someone else watching her while she showered.

As for 2, I wonder what that's all about. Why she wouldn't have any privacy. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks once again!
Have you listened yet? IMO, Tim Miller makes some pretty hard allegations against the CID.
He said that the CID investigator didn’t even want to take the lid of the pelican case as evidence, saying it wasn’t related!
It’s definitely worth a listen, TM seems very upset with the way the military has handled this. MOO

How disgusting! Fort Hood CID-- YOU SUCK.

I'm about as pissed off at them as I am at the murderers. And THAT is why people still get away with sexual harassment, rape, assault...
they sweep it away and cover. Pretend it never happened.

#IAMVANESSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They could have benefited from feeling the loss, showing compassion for the family and demonstrating to all a burning thirst for justice for one of their own, a PFC egregiously killed while on duty.
