Identified! CO - Douglas Co, Hwy 67 near Horse Creek, WhtFem 13-20, 154UFCO, Jun'93 - Rebecca ‘Becky’ Redeker

There are bulletins released by the county sheriff and crime stoppers mentioning it.

Also this article says she lived in parks the year preceding her death, and that she was “likely homeless” at the time of her death. She had previously lived in group homes, so for one reason or another was somewhat vulnerable.

This shouldn’t have taken this long to connect. I’m curious to know what LE did after her family reported her missing. Cases like this should make it clear that responses like “she’s a runaway” or “she’s homeless” don’t work, and shouldn’t preclude someone from being entered into the system as a missing person.

My impression was that there may have been an adoption that might have delayed the DNA match? In one LE quote it says they used DNA to find her "birth father".
