I did submit Elaine a while back, but did not hear anything on her and never saw her name added to the exclusion list. I sent another request to the Doe Network potential match panel today just in case, despite the difference in estimated age.

Since Elaine is missing from Canada, it will probably take a long time to hear about a possible match. There's a lot of international protocol that needs to be followed. Not as bad as it used to be but still time consuming.

Has anyone on here taken a look at Paget Barr? She is a little over the age range, but she has a young-looking face. Everything else matches up. She was dating an enforcer with the Hells Angels. It's possible the splenectomy was something that happened after her going missing. Typically they are done because of a ruptured spleen most commonly caused by abdominal trauma. Could be she had a motorcycle accident..?
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Dawn Silvernail is another possibility. There isn't much to go on with her but it does say she has an abdominal scar. Right age, and weight. Height is a little off but they're typically approximate.
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Just some thoughts.

Elaine Allenbach is now listed under the exclusions on NamUs. Did they ever get back to you? Not sure which exclusions are new, but there are now 97 rule-outs for RFJD.

Re:

Height: 5'6 to 5'8"
Weight: 140 to 160 lbs.
Distinguishing Marks/Features: Stocky build with large breasts and large hips. Approximate shoe size 6 or 7.

When I go back and look at this, and revisit it, I think for her to be described as "stocky" she really has to have been on the lower end of the height, or below it, and at, or exceeding, the upper end for weight.

A 5'8" woman who is 140 might have a large cup size, but she would only be described as "stocky" by someone who was letting their personal bias/opinion for very slender women enter in. I guess that could be possible, but I think we are *probably* looking for someone who was shorter and curvy. Also, while some taller women can have small feet, and vice versa, *if* her feet were a 6, that also seems to point to a shorter woman.

JMO!

Interesting point! NamUs has the height estimated as 5'3"-5'8", which could account for her being shorter and potentially within that weight range, but they seem to think she was on the taller end. I agree that "curvy" may be a better word to describe her, as a woman around 5'6" weighing 140 could still be relatively slender, but having a large breast and hip size would give her the appearance of having a stocky build/higher weight. 6/7 is a small shoe size, especially for a 5'8" woman! I could only find anecdotal evidence, and the average women's shoe size is 7/8, but it seems rare for a 5'8" woman to have a shoe size 6/7. Not impossible though... The FBI has a NCMEC recon I haven't seen before. It is not added to Jane Doe's NCMEC page (yet).

Woman found dead in 1993 to be identified by Douglas County Sheriff's Office

From the link (it's blocked for users outside the US):

In 1993, a woman's remains were found in the Pike and San Isabel National Forests. The remains are believed to be those of a 20-year-old Colorado Springs woman.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) will hold a press conference Thursday morning to identify the victim.

DCSO said that deputies were called to the area between Woodland Park and Deckers on June 15, 1993, where they found a makeshift campsite and the woman's remains.

A cold case detective received a tip in July that finally led to the identification of the woman, who spent most of her life in and around Colorado Springs and was reported missing, according to DCSO.

DCSO said the case has been examined many times over the years to see if any new investigative tools could help identify the victim.

The investigation into her death is still active, and anyone who may have information on the victim or her death is asked to contact DCSO at 303-660-7500.

This is awesome! She finally gets her name back. This has been one of my "pet cases" for a very long time.
She is one of so many people's "pet cases"! I love how so many people never gave up on helping her get identified!!! I used to live in the apartments next to the cemetery where she was buried before her remains were exhumed. I have waited many years for this day!!

I am shocked she was a local! I was thinking she was from somewhere else in the US or even Canada!
