This case reminds me of Gabriel Fernandez. The CPS workers were eventually held accountable, may they rot in hell for all eternity. Gabriel still haunts me.
I'm not sure if I can follow Rebekah's story but I will try my hardest.
I totally agree. That's why I think nothing short of a brain tumor could be behind the Defense's decision to pursue an insanity defense--- but that presumes their belief in their client's innocence is genuine and not just desperate game play.
It certainly IS very difficult to prove insanity. The fact that the defense is now changing their approach, and looking at the timing of it, I wonder if they've done some medical testing and have only recently received the results. I'm thinking of something irrefutable like evidence of a brain...
"The assailants first demanded 100 rupees from each person prior to the attack". The victims were unable to pay.
All of this-- murder and multiple rape and assault-- all of this over $6.45.
Six dollars and forty-five cents!
I can think of only one reason why no jurors have given anonymous comment: LE has asked them not to, while they work on filing charges for the first parent's death.
Let us hope so!
Thank you for sharing these links; I highly recommend watching this latest chapter of the series!
I really was blown away by the DePaul family. I think they are all AMAZING. I wish them and Natalia all the joy this world can hold. <3
Holyyyy crucible case. This woman, omg!
And then towards Page #26:
"In my soft-spoken conclusion"... !!!!???
This woman with all her gold is truly, truly bonkers.
You have made the hide & seek ruse finally make sense to me! I think your description of how JT got himself into that suitcase is 100% dead-on. I think she pretended to be uncharacteristically loving, happy, (un-shrewish!) and victim JT fell for it.
He was probably laughing as she pulled the...
The second sketch came out because the witness who provided it was upset that it hadn't been used. I believe it was quite some time later that SHE approached LE and it was at her insistence that they finally made "her" sketch public. I'm not sure how that jibes with the P saying that both sketch...
It seems strange that all 3 men initially suspected were reported released based on lie detector results! I'm not sure that would happen today, when such tests are not considered permissible in a court of law.
Carol's case seems perfect for genetic testing, if only to rule out these 3 men--...
I keep wondering if she was referring to a highway or route number, ie Route 138. Is there such a thing in that area? (I am horrible with maps).
I just cannot fathom driving that fast, even on a highway!!
Apologies to all for my previous posts regarding my theory. It never once occurred to me that I was speculating outside of the TOS :( I was even consciously trying to be so careful by using IMO & phrasing like "I think" yet somehow totally missed the actual big picture.
This has never happened...
Here's one of the 99% individual issues I mentioned in my last post. Yes, BH has an alibi-- But is it truly verified? How hard did LE, some of whom are his fellow lodge members, how hard did they really look?
Historically BH considers himself an outlier. He is an Odinist, after all, and...
I agree she is not legally insane, although I do question whether her longterm goal planning is significantly impaired. She certainly seems to possess a roiling mass of personality disorders, but that doesn't qualify with the court. IMO complaining & sarcasm are her psyche's main driving force...
Holy Moly. Holy wowzers. I kept waiting for the punchline of "Gotcha this is a spoof and Ms. Boone didn't actually write this"!
But nope, punchline did not appear. It's real! All real, right down to putting the judge's title of "Honorable" in quotes throughout...
