"Today, OPP Staff Sergeant Jason Winser said police have received several tips about the missing persons case and they have followed up on the information provided.
"While we cannot speak to specific investigative information at this time as the investigation remains ongoing, we are actively...
Yes, I found the witness statements. What I am looking for is video that corroborates a specific part of the account.
In CC's description, she says that ICE gave orders to leave while, at the same time, another ICE agent said “get out of the car.”
I can clearly hear “get out of the car” on the...
That ruling does not say that law enforcement may shoot someone for speech or for disobeying an order. That is not what it is being cited for.
What case law does is answer specific legal questions. In the cited case, the question was whether the First Amendment automatically protects speech...
"The First Amendment does not protect free speech if it violates laws such as trespassing, disobeying or interfering with a lawful order by a law enforcement officer."

IMO that kind of generalised belief evidence usually isn’t admissible. The Chauvin trial showed how narrowly courts limit what comes in. IMO verdicts are usually based on evidence tied to the incident.
Thanks for recognising my intent. I’m not looking to erase what happened through technicalities. I’m trying to understand exactly what occurred based on the available evidence.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this comment, so my apologies if i have misunderstood. It's my understanding the FBI is investigating. Are you saying its unlikely that the FBI are impartial or interested in what really happened?
If I could I would tell them the same thing: Don't use definite terms until the facts have been determined. But they are not in this thread AFAIK.
The amount of certainty being asserted on all sides is making it difficult to examine the evidence objectively.
I come to WS to examine the...
My point was really about timing and precision. IMO homicide will end up being the official classification, but that determination belongs to the Medical Examiner. Legal authorities will decide on any additional charges. <modsnip>
Has the Medical Examiner ruled on the manner of death?
There is frequent use of the word “murder” in this thread. Murder is a specific legal determination, generally defined as the unlawful and premeditated killing of one person by another. While that may ultimately be the conclusion, it has...
"Video captured by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jonathan Ross gives a raw, up-close perspective of the pivotal moments surrounding his fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis.
A DHS official confirmed the video, obtained by CNN, was recorded on the agent’s cellphone camera; the...
ADMIN NOTE: The following source is known for questionable content and fake news. We are allowing THIS LINK ONLY so our members can see what we/they are up against in trying to get to the TRUTH of what really transpired when Renee Nicole Good was killed.
Further video footage:
IMO this is a helpful breakdown, but it frames the central issue incorrectly. The relevant question is not whether the shooting was justified; rather, it is whether the officer met the legal standard for the use of force under the law.
IMO reaching an accurate conclusion requires asking...
From the first page of this thread, several posters reference an officer telling the victim to leave, and this interpretation appears to be commonly shared. I have not been able to identify recorded audio that clearly captures this instruction. If anyone is aware of a video in which these words...
Thank you, and I have added further comments from the same witness below.
"A witness to Wednesday’s shooting in south Minneapolis told MPR News that she saw a federal agent shoot a woman several times.
Emily Heller lives near 33rd and Portland and said she woke up to a commotion outside her...
