    Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996 - 1997, Perth, Western Australia - #15

Hi All, Couple of random thoughts; - I think it's important to remember how much the world has changed from 1996/1997 to now. In the interceding 20 odd years things have changed massively. For those that were around you may remember however when reviewing the facts it's worth remembering...

    Australia Claremont Serial Killer, 1996 - 1997, Perth, Western Australia - #15

This is by far the most likely scenario. The video was most likely put up by a crank and someone with too much time on their hands and a pretty strange sense of humour. Much like those taking it seriously. I genuinely cannot see how it offers any insight or value in relation to the crimes.

Firstly, thanks for the response. I agree. I'm not sure he stopped. Some part of me thinks he may have although the odds would say not. That's a really interesting point. I also agree that the most likely explanation for the TRG etc is as you've desribed. I think overall the most...

Now this is completely speculation on my part but I respect your opinion and the way you present your thoughts on here. With regards to the timing of BRE's arrest. In the context of the suddeness (from our point of view), the use of force, the breakdown of his relationship with CG (and possibly...

I also agree with you that the JR/KK line of reasoning is worth a look. This is one of the more rational/reasonable lines of thinking outside the box. The Claremont Ghost/Dido/Tigermoth stuff is just in bad taste if you ask me. It's some sicko getting their kicks off the misery and suffering...

Australia Australia - Claremont SK, 1996-97, Perth, WA - #13

Best post on here in a while. Couldn't agree more. I think giving any credence to the Claremont Ghost Video and Tigermoth video is to just feed the ego of whoever posted it. It's not helpful and almost certainly not posted by the real CSK.

What leads you to believe that? Hunch or evidence (not trying to be insulting, merely being sceptical)?

I wouldn't place any stock in anything Claremont Ghost or Tigermoth has done. The videos are obviously works of fiction/fantasy that someone with too much time on their hands has come up with. An excuse to give off an aura of knowing about the case and placing themselves in the spotlight...

I don't know about that. He's probably thought they've been close before in the earlier years however 20 years on I'd imagine he's gotten pretty sure he's home free. I know the sentiment of most people prior to the arrest (and on this board) was that the police were as far away as they ever...

Can you give us some idea why you are specifically qualified to comment on the surveillance please? It will help in my mind to give weight to your opinion on this matter. At this stage I find it very difficult to believe that police were overtly surveilling and baiting BRE prior to arrest.

This is something I think is highly likely, yet I've not seen much discussion of it. I think it's highly unlikely he persuaded the girls to get in his car. This is mainly due to the fact that there are very little (if any) reports of failed attempts. I also think this method of abduction...

Have to agree with you about your point generally. I think there are some careless people here that flippantly state things as fact and then when asked to prove it just say 'oh that was my opinion'. It really doesn't help things. I think before people post they need to either source their...

    1. Re: being a migrant. Thanks for that. So no confirmation, just a thought. Cheers. 2. Re: Facebook - how would he change his Facebook profile if he's in jail? It's my understanding that he wouldn't have access to his profile.

Couple of points; - Has there been any confirmation of BRE's nationality? Haven't seen anything yet but there's mention of him being deported by jan.wa. Jan.wa are you able to confirm your source of his nationality please? - Interesting to note that the media reported the step-daughter...

Anyone have any speculation about what might come out/up in court today? Can we expect any new information?

I didn't read it as a house. Read it as a 'headstone' business. Have I got that wrong?

I think we've all got to be really careful before we go off getting all excited about this article. The way I read it, the guy who found the stuff has just turned it into police. There is no real mention of when he found the items (a few years after he bought the property in 1993). There...

I'm a little sceptical about him choosing his victims because they are affluent. But let's just quickly look at his selction. Many serial killers choose to kill prostitutes because there is less chance of detection. In this case, our SK has decided to take a greater risk. Why? It's...

Whilst I would agree that it would have been one of the areas of choice, by sheer weight of numbers it was still far behind Northbridge and Fremantle at this time. Arguably Leederville attracted larger numbers too and it may have been on par with Subiaco. If you are talking about in terms of...
