Australia- Nine people stabbed including 9 month baby @ the Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction, suspect fatally shot, Sydney, 13 April 2024

Wow it's really shocking to see some of those gifs, makes it feel so "real". It's so important to be aware of your surroundings wherever you are. You can also see that he tried to stab men as well but it looks as though they got away. It doesn't look like an attack on women imo, it looks like he...

Australia- Nine people stabbed including 9 month baby @ the Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction, suspect fatally shot, Sydney, 13 April 2024

Wow actually shocked it appears to be premeditated. That's so messed up. It's crazy how internet search history reveals so much, it's almost like reading their mind. He didn't stand a chance of anything but life in prison even if he'd survived.

Australia- Nine people stabbed including 9 month baby @ the Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction, suspect fatally shot, Sydney, 13 April 2024

It hits close to home when it's almost like a "near miss". My partner lives close to the area and has connections there and I'm so thankful he's safe, but of course it's terrible for all of the victims and their families. Such a tragic event all round.

Agreed. It's easy to jump on the sexist bandwagon but nobody will ever truly know aside from him what his real intentions were.

Not to generalise, but he looks so "normal" in that picture with the surfboard. His family and friends must be horrified. Makes sense that he had schizophrenia though carrying out an attack like that.

... Or how about he puts the damn knife down and doesn't feel the need to pick on anyone? The guy is mentally insane casually strolling around a shopping centre with that thing. I doubt he cared whether it was a woman, man or child, but nobody deserves it equally.

England, UK. Sarah Everard's case is how I discovered this forum and I've been a true crime fan for years.

UK - 3 people found dead on the streets of Nottingham 13 June 2023 ‘Arrest’

Even though he DID have mental health issues, plenty of people do yet they don't go around killing others. It's a damn shame the police were too late stopping him having seen his previous antics.

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #32

She had to get a whole life sentence really, there would have been no other way around it considering the things she did. It's scary how the 'overly nice' people are often the ones you have to watch out for because they're hiding their real true selves and covering it with their 'niceness'. Not...

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #31

Just been reading about this case in more detail today, heard about it for the first time quite a while ago but never really looked into it much. This is just... such a strange one. Wanting to kill random babies that you don't even know? I suppose there were underlying reasons although on...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #19

Another thing I noticed was that originally Paul had said that morning was different because everything was organised and usually they were running around at the last minute trying to get everything ready, whereas over these past few days he was asked if that morning was the same as usual and he...

I think we can all learn something from this, dog owner or not. Definitely a good reminder to be extra careful around/near spaces of water, isloated areas, muddy/slippy/steep banks, even if you're familiar with an area.

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #19

"Nicola Bulley was sent to A&E just under three weeks before she disappeared due to a head injury. Dr Grey told the hearing at County Hall, Preston, that the mum was told to go to A&E on January 11 due to a head injury. Ms Bulley attended a walk-in centre after a fall, complaining of increased...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #19

Tbh I feel as though the police were confident enough from the beginning that no third party was involved in this and that’s been stated yet again now. I believe they’re right imo. I’m not sure there will really ever be a way to know exactly what happened that day and it’s probably something...

    Recovered/Located UK - Cardiff - 3 Women & 2 Men Missing, leaving nightclub approx 2am, Newport, 4 March 2023

Wow this is so sad :( Do we know which of the people are in hospital right now? I've read through a couple of articles but it doesn't seem to state this info.

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

The whole thing is almost so weird and ironic in some ways. She's been trending on twitter for the past few days. If it was suicide, she likely would have not wanted that. If it was an accident, I'm sure she'd have been happy to know the whole country was concerned/thinking about her during this...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

If she was drinking that morning, surely it would've been just as likely to be suicide rather than an accidental death... that proves nothing imo. People leave their children/partners/families all the time for various reasons... and a reason that may be very significant to her may not be to...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

Yeah I agree with you. I think it's equally as important to reveal if they knew it was suicide or an accident. Not sure if/how they will, but I do believe it should be shared with the public for safety of others. If it was an accident, I'm sure it's going to make people a lot more aware of...

RIP Nicola :( So sad no matter what happened. I can't imagine how we'll ever know why/how she ended up in there... but who knows. Feeling so sad for Paul today and how he's going to tell the kids that their mommy isn't coming home. Ugh.
