@MOTORUNNER called it right in 2017. In post #92 of this thread he said perhaps it is not "HR Bow" but "Arrow" Dyeing and Finishing, as he'd found a business with that name in Dalton, GA.
A poster on another site where I will not link seems to confirm. I do not link because TOS, but I do...
Damn.
I said last night I was getting Reagan Tokes vibes. Woman alone abducted off street, perpetrator trolling in a downtown area near college campus. That's not much to go on, don't know why I got those vibes, but I did.
But now that the abductor has been identified some of the other...
Not liking the way this sounds at all.
Reminds me a little bit of Molly Tibbetts as some have said, and also Reagan Tokes, whose killer also staked a university campus area in the hours before finding Reagan.
I think the police don't want to put all their eggs in one basket. Either they really think she was in an accident, possibly in the water, and they're considering abduction as a precaution, or vice versa. And I really wish I knew which is which.
I have been thinking accident. New driver, at...
TPR is a weird one for sure. But I think in terms of profiling him there are some things to keep in mind. He's not just an angry drunk. The world is filled with those types. Some go through a series of partners and repeat the same patterns of behavior. Some even kill, and when they do, they...
Wow. Seven months later in the Azores? Wonder what condition the boat was in when it washed up. Obviously good enough to identify it. I also wonder how long he remained with his vessel.
Wow, I think this is a very strong lead re Bess. Honestly you should call detectives as well. Or the coroner, can't remember who is point on this. But Warrensville Heights isn't far at all from Garfield.
Most of it is actually done now by computer. Right now in Mississippi I think the only kind you can do is names. So you go to 1950 census project at Family search and pick Mississippi and choose "Review Names." That takes you to a screen where you can either enter a specific surname, or a...
I hope someone can take it up. Years ago I had a reporter interested in doing a story, and then a big local story broke and went national and that was wall-to-wall for a while and then we kind of lost touch.
Had a minute to come back to this. Limited on what is available still for Mississippi on FamilySearch. So,I've been indexing Pearl River County on FamilySearch to try to get this ball rolling. Any of you who've worked on these trees at all and want to jump in and help, that would be great -...
Just from the conversations we're having here today, I'd encourage y'all, if you can find it online somewhere, to watch the documentary "The Family I Had," which aired on Discovery ID I think a few years ago.
THIS SHOULD NOT be read as me saying it is entirely analogous to this case. It is...
Obviously since the news broke of Lily's death we all thought of not just her family, but her friends and classmates and what tough news that must be.
Reading all of this I am also thinking about the classmates of the charged individual, and I imagine they'll have their own struggles taking in...
Watching tonight's stream. @Tricia, so glad Jodi reached out to you and you responded with so much compassion and great advice. Jodi, girl, we love you. As a survivor I have been where you are, I do remember nights like that. It's horrible, and I'm sorry, you are in my prayers. I second...
I can't forget these boys. I pray for their mom that one day she'll be able to have answers, and have them home. I know among their friends and family they will never be forgotten, and even though I never knew them, their story touched me, and I can't forget them either.
So his parents were away? Or did they just own the home he lives in? Reminds me of Jayme Closs case where the kidnapper's parents probably saw these stories on the news and had no idea that their own son was the one responsible. Imagine being them and getting that call from the police...
Just because I saw a little discussion about it, I've volunteered with refugees before and so I know a little bit about refugee issues and refugee resettlement. Happy to answer questions if it helps!
Gosh I sure am hoping for a good outcome for this sweet little one.
Thanks for this, and just to add, once we figured out Catherine Danielly's mixed heritage, I stopped paying too much attention to the Black/Asian/Native etc., ancestry possibilities for MC. Mostly because Catherine was from Florida. Florida is a place where it would not have been at all...
