My husband has an uncanny way of disappearing under his covers. We've been married for 20 plus years and sometimes I have to look twice to see if he's in there. If MIchele's sleeping habits were similar, it's entirely possible Romy didn't see her.
OF course, as you point out, that means she was...
I think he probably checked into the hotel with a credit card.
As for who is paying his lawyer...I would love to know that myself.
I can't imagine his siblings doing it, but I am not in their shoes.
All JMO.
Me too, @Arkay. I'm so old I remember watching "All in the Family" (when it was on, NOT in reruns) and having a slight schoolgirl crush on cutie Rob.

Edited to comply with TOS
"This is Spinal Tap," "When Harry Met Sally," and "The Princess Bride" are all in my pantheon of great films.
I also remember watching Rob Reiner on "All in the Family."
I almost feel as though I've lost a family member.
I just finished reading Virginia Giuffre's memoir and my God, what suffering she survived. It was a difficult book to read that I had to put down more than once for my own mental health. I can't remember the last time a book brought me to tears.
Rest in peace, Jenna. So many people failed you...
