That's what I've been wondering too after seeing the polygraph results in the affidavits. SA showed deception as to the whereabouts of Hailey but BD showed deception as to participation in her disappearance.

According to this article, BD was interviewed by CBS 7 in the AFTERNOON and said that SA was with authorities taking the polygraph. Hailey's uncle said he was polygraphed also and thought BD took the poly that NIGHT too. So when was there time for BD to kick SA out and have a 10 hour interview...

I agree with what you're saying but I just want to clarify that Bill Wegerle did fail the polygraph twice but he was never charged with the killing of his wife because there wasn't enough evidence against him. Eighteen years later, it was determined that she was killed by BTK.
