Hi, blueclouds. Although the family might have sensed he had some problems, this is a 26 year-old man. I don't believe the family can be faulted in any way here...even if they were aware of his social isolation...which is different than antisocial issues. Antisocial generally refers to criminal...
I don't think so either, cathieq. The best predictor of future behavior is past behaviors. This reptile apparently had no violent acting out behaviors that we know of. Had he been a responsible adult, he would have gotten himself some help. He himself said he knew he'd be "locked away" if people...
From his blog: " 'If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?...The skin of last night's main course.' "
There is no punishment that a court of law could hand down that could adequately and appropriately punish this reptile. The consequences his fellow inmates will dole out may be...
Not all that far from where St. Guillen's body was found. Although the various marshy areas around there appear to be favorite dumping grounds for all manner of criminals.
But back on topic, I really wish there were some way to require people to be licensed to be parents before being allowed to procreate. I know that will never happen, but I wonder if there isn't some way on God's green earth to protect children from negligent, abusive and otherwise dangerous parents.
The hell with prison. Build a very small windowless all stark white tile bathroom and lock 'em in there with only a blanket and feed them ocassional gruel. Scummy little buggers.
"I would never hurt nobody. I'm not really violent. I might get loud once in a while, that's it." :liar:
"I'm a decent guy. I get along w/ everyone---except Manitowoc County."
"I'm even scared to go to sleep. They are going to come and get me and arrest me." :boohoo:
11/8 "I just...
RKnowley, Interesting question. Wouldn't that just put the screws to Avery's recent howlings about being framed "again"? I'd assume LE has thought about that, perhaps even already talked to Allen if they thought they knew each other. Wonder if they spent time together in the same prison.

Gruesomer and gruesomer. Greta Van Sustern reported this evening that Teresa was dismembered.
"Investigators searched 3,800 vehicles several times, six ponds and a 700 acre area three times, Pagel said. They were also investigating information they received from their tip line, he said...
He offered this response before anyone knew anything other than that she was missing. Quite remarkably feebleminded, isn't he?....On top of being just brutishly evil. Assuming he is guilty, hell will have a special place waiting to roast this pig.
That whole Avery clan should give lessons in blaming other people, playing the victim, denying reality, lying and just generally making loathsome statements (IMHO). Families like this shouldn't be allowed to breed. (IMHO, MOO, etc., etc.)
Mother Delores "maintained that her son is...
How ironic is this?! On 11/1, one day after Teresa Halbach's disappearance, "The Avery Bill" was signed in WI. It is the culmination of efforts following Avery's wrongful conviction (via the Wisconsin Innocence Project) and changes the way suspected criminals are questioned and prosecuted...
