I say "save the dishes" and "get down at the store". My girlfriend from a different part of the state makes fun of me for both. But now she uses both phrases, lol. "What are you saving the dishes from?" "Get down? Like, break dance?"

Not sure how good of an idea it is to shout out where you're going in a public forum. If that's the perps car and he reads these boards, then he's probably expecting you. That's if the guy is smart enough to browse the web, lol. Be safe regardless! And good luck.

I know someone mentioned the Krooked Nickel in a previous post, but I'm wondering if this is a viable theory (it fits into the DUI category) -Closing call is around 2AM, last appearance of Mickey was about 1:48 near Circle K. Bar patron wanted to leave a little earlier than closing time. -If...

She had the LG Slider as well. I think phones with a GPS can be pinged with it being turned off. Most smartphones have GPS (Android / iPhone).

I was looking for the Cadillac as well on my drive, and didn't see anything remotely comparable to it.

There is. I was on Robley yesterday and looked down side streets and saw many of them.

I think it depends on how old you were and if your family followed the events. I heard about the case growing up, but I didn't know any specifics until I read the various comments on this board.

Right, I'm agreeing with you. Just a picture to confirm for people not familiar with the area. Apologize for the misunderstanding. :)

http://www.okroads.com/121303/i10laexit127.JPG That picture shows very little / no shoulder. Also, you can plug the coords 30°22'01.48" N 91°37'53.26" W into Google Maps. I'm not sure how different the picture is in Google Earth.

I always see people parked on the side of the interstate for motor troubles. If that's the case, all he had to do was pull over to the side and wait until there was a big gap. I assume it wouldn't take long to toss a bike over and get back into the car. I'm hoping the highway cameras caught...

I took this picture last year on my way to Hammond. http://i.imgur.com/mdyJ0.jpg This is basically all you see for many many miles (from Whiskey Bay exit, all the way to ...? right before you hit Baton Rouge). Some areas along the route are more shrouded by trees, and as you can imagine, at...

IMO, they definitely are. They probably have a timeline, so it may be quicker. But they have to check every detail since it could be a recent drop that wasn't done on the same night.

Agree. It's easy to blame the victim. Whether she was riding her bike at 2AM or 2PM shouldn't matter. If she was stalked, a calculating individual could have abducted her at any time of the day.

No, it makes sense. I wouldn't want someone to be harassed because of something I posted on here. Police should handle something like that. Who knows, maybe someone had the same hunch as chicken fried and already called it in. There's so many people that shop at those three stores he frequents.
