GUILTY KY - Trey Zwicker, 14, beaten to death, Louisville, 11 May 2011 #2

I wonder what was not allowed into evidence. There are probably alot of things JY did that we will never know...

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

BBM - Well, he certainly wasn't paying much attention to Jodi's pre-murder life. Nor did he pay attention to how Travis lived his life. This is clipped from an AP article. "You heard (prosecutor Juan) Martinez say she was only 27. ... She's old enough that she should have known better,"...

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

CEO being foreman would have been nice. At least he might have tried to get a verdict. I regret watching the ABC15 interview. The foreman seems like he actually likes Jodi as a person and that, without actually saying it, that he blames Travis for the change in her. He said "she was a...

KatieCoolady Holds 'Court' - The Dedicated KCL Thread

In watching the foreman on GMA this morning, I am truly shocked that he believed that Travis was mentally and verbally abusive.

    Penalty Phase #13

I feel that another reason the DT keeps dragging this out is to put distance from Samantha's and Steven's victim impact statements.

a view from the inside: observations from our own court observers #9

I also found it quite odd that Nurmi bought up the sexual orientation of a witness. From ALV's testimony, she made it appear that she was straight w/children and wore a wedding ring. The jurors were probably going 'who is Nurmi talking about?'

On HLN After Dark tonight, JVM had a woman on her jury who said there were two Walmarts in Salinas. My first thought was 'oh no.' Then I found on Walmart's Corporate website that the second one didn't open until July 2010. I sure hope Nurmi doesn't try mislead the jury... and that JM already...

closing argument poll: how did the prosecution do?

JM was so good! I hope he mentions about Jodi's bloody palm print being on the wall.

weekend discussion: discuss the trial here #155

I think Jodi has damning info on DB. Something that will put his relationship with his son in jeopardy.

I like the question. IMO the juror was just pointing out that a lie is a lie.

BBM - Why doesn't the judge want to see the original video and talk to the reporter from 12 News instead of the edited version from HLN? http://www.azcentral.com/video/2261149720001

weekend discussion: discuss the trial here #141

Sorry - I don't know how to bring over a quote from a closed page... My question is didn't Jodi testify that Bobby Juarez committed suicide? Someone on the previous forum (#140) posted a link to suggest that Bobby Juarez is an actor / alive.

Was there any reaction in court when Juan brought out that when Travis was IM'ing with someone that he indicated that Jodi was probably logged in and monitoring their chat. I assume that meant she was logged in as him on her own computer while Travis was logged in on his computer at home.

trial day 42: the defense continues its case in chief #127

Love that JM got out that Travis knew Jodi was logging in to his IM account and monitoring his IM chats.

Please no! I love that show and don't want it ruined by thinking of JW when watching it!
