Based on the amount of blood and the number of people who lived there and the possibility that the home had a lot of traffic (friends visiting, etc.), I suspect that it's going to take a good bit of time to examine the evidence and make an arrest. It could take days to test all of the DNA. All...
Has this story been discussed? It provides some new facts, including that the 911 call was made from a phone owned by one of the surviving roommates. Sorry if it's already been posted. I just checked to see what time the press conference was happening, and this story popped up. I haven't checked...
All I can say is that there would be a lot of blood, and the perp must have cleaned up a little. That might entail a shower, washing or changing clothes, etc.
We now have three of us who are planning to meet up and discuss checking water areas. I know that another local woman was found because of a searcher who used a drone. I checked into drones, and it appears that the really good ones cost $2,000 or more. So I'm hoping we can find someone who owns...
I can report a few updates. First, I'm happy to report that the major crimes unit of Ocala PD is now in charge of the case. Hopefully, they'll be able to track her movement in the days leading up to her disappearance.
We do have information indicating that she for sure was back in Ocala on May...
I didn't hear back from the other poster. But I'm usually free on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and would be happy to meet up. We could meet right where she was last seen. 5725 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746 How about next weekend? That will give me time to reach out to police...
Help Us Find Grace Michelle Mancell Slane
I sent an email to a mod last week, but I didn't get a response. So I hope it's okay to request a slight exception to the general rule about posting missing discussion threads without a media source. Let me preface this with a few points. First, I am a...
He definitely looks disgusting. And police are dragging their butts on this one. His girlfriend has been missing for more than a month now. The first report filed with the police was June 3. The family filed a second report on June 9, and the case was tagged missing endangered. Today, the family...
Well, I guess I'll bump this thread. I'm currently assisting a family with roots in my old hometown in a missing persons case involving a woman whose boyfriend may be kin to Couey. I can't give details yet. I built a missing page on FB for the family. But I'm waiting now for something to hit the...
Yes, lots of changes. I believe I had a post where I pinpointed one spot where she might have veered off road and into the water. I had checked some of her likely route in search of drainage lakes with nothing blocking a vehicle from careening into one. Since then, I've speculated that she may...
I live not far from where Sandra was last seen. And I am up for meeting up with any other locals who want to search. Maybe we could meet up at a restaurant and discuss where to look. I know that one searcher with a drone was able to locate the vehicle of a missing woman from Orlando about a year...
I can't fathom how anyone can have a rational conversation about what causes a kid to do something so horrible. I can't get past the blind rage and devastating sadness. It's blocking out everything else.
I definitely think there is a familial component to the actions of this child. It's either some sort of genetic thing that caused him to be predisposed to this kind of unfathomable violence or a series of traumatic experiences wherein he was a victim. It also might be both. In fact, I think it's...
Thanks for your insight and welcome to the board. It's sad that it's under such grim circumstances. If this is the work of a teen, I'm guessing it would be a fairly dark, withdrawn individual. Of course, it seems that most teens are fairly withdrawn and socially awkward these days.
Edited my post because I finally found the name of the girl I was thinking of. Her name was Alanna Gallagher. She was just a 6-year-old girl enjoying her summer when her 17-year-old neighbor coaxed her into his home and murdered her. The details made me want to vomit. I keep thinking about that...
It seems like a lot of perps would take her and not leave her. This suggests to me that the person did not have a car and could not take her into a home because they don't have a home in that area or they do not live alone.
