I don't know anything about soccer but didn't he also get "red carded" or in trouble a lot over the years for being overly aggressive with either refs or other players or coaches?Yeah, they did say that - he bought a computer monitor with a company credit card, which wasn't an authorized purchase.
In my opinion, this goes to show that Raven thought he was above the law, and while it doesn't necessarily prove murder, it shows that he had a certain level of moral relativism that would've made it easier to rationalize additional criminal activity. His volatility at company soccer games also shows that he had a temper.

Someone told me there was forensic expert on today, but I'm not seeing it and I'm not sure why. The note I got was the fingerprint on the closet door was "plastic" meaning it was a fingerprint that was embedded by paint into the closet door. Sorry Amos, that fingerprint ah ha moment, along with the bloody footprint by the EMS driver just went the way of the willy
Today seemed quite interesting to me.
AT&T was interesting. So there were two cell phones. One I know they said was on the floor, last week. There was a lot of testimony about that, but where was Janet's cell phone? Not really sure much about why the cell phones are important, but hopefully we find out more later. Maybe it's a piece of the overall puzzle. He had two phones. Well, we probably can attribute that to having so many girls on the side and committing felonies on the side. Seems perfectly logical if maybe he was running other scams on the side that we don't even know about.
Raymon Wilson's testimony was really awesome. It showed Raven as he truly is. He is a chameleon. The way he would act in a coed soccer team, with customers where he's yelling, screaming, cussing and getting rough. Tyndall asks about Raven's and Janet's relationship of all these witnesses that knew him, but sociopaths are good at being enthusiastic, and engaging, and charming. Of course he treated Janet nicely and loving in front of people. It's the way he acts when nobody is around that's important. He's a sociopath. I think he was a great witness, painting the picture of the true Raven, the pleasant and charming outgoing guy, the hot head (or complete and utter psycho on the field, the embezzler, the liar, the sneak, the guy that can steal, lie and cheat and look you in the eye as though he is innocent.
Remember back in the early days when we all kept saying how much he reminded us of S.Peterson and then J.Young and others? He's another glaring example of a classic sociopathic type personality. Mr. Wilson even said that after the interview when he and his boss were talking about Raven that he seemed over the top or "two good to be true". Sounds like Raven was on a roll at that interview and then pretty quickly started showing his true colors. Did he or did he not have the VX, and the motorcycle, and some other expensive toys off and on during this time?
He stole and then tried sneaking in to cover it up before he got caught, but he was already caught. One thing that was NOT said was Janet did NOT have to leave Eurosports, she left out of embarrassment. ES didn't ask her to leave, she wasn't fired, she had NO knowledge of what he was doing. I really wish someone would have said that out loud!!!
Gotta watch Sandy's testimony now. BBL! :seeya:
The testimony of Sandy Gareton was really good, I think she was extremely bright and as much as Tyndall seemed to try to trip her up and mix up time stamps etc. it didn't work. She said that Karen worked in her position in Utah, so obviously he had some pull getting into that position. It seemed as though she would have never hired him had Karen didn't have some sort of pull. Of course, Raven had no choice but to tell the truth when he went there because so many places, especially schools and IT places do some sort of background check. Yes, Amos, Raven told his new job the truth regarding having charges against, but did he tell them the whole truth? Who knows whether or not he told them I didn't do anything and it will be proven in a court of law, or something like that. Raven always has an excuse for things. Was killing Janet a way of ultimately blaming the theft on Janet?
I was so shocked to hear that Karen called Raven's boss to say that Raven wouldn't be in because Janet committed SUICIDE? Major wth moment for me.
Also, did I understand her correctly....in MARCH he asked for Friday, Monday and Tuesday off....a MONTH in advance. April 22, 25 and 26th because his baby sitter needed time off? Didn't the baby sitter not say anything about needing those days off? Kaiden had a fever so they met the "nanny" (babysitter) & Janet at the hospital. Why truly did he need that time off? To me it's smells of EXTREME PREMEDIATION!!
This witnesses testimony was seriously very telling, she was bright, professional and articulate as was Raymon Wilson.
I am a little bit more confused regarding the testimonies of Tyrell Deshong and Todd Phelps and not sure where they are going with it except that Raven showed up at work on the 26th (I think it's cause he wanted to be seen and to be seen as normal) not because he missed work and wanted to make up for it, because truth is HE WASN'T near his quota so no matter what he did in the next few days, he wouldn't make his quote and it seems to me he would have been dismissed anyhow because of it.
I can't remember which day now, because I'm cramming all this in, but all three said that he showed up for like 5 or 10 minutes one of those days he was off and went into his office for some reason was he trying to retrieve papers? If he was suppose to be home watching Kaiden and Janet was working where was Kaiden? In the car, at home alone?
There is a picture forming for sure.

Did they cut some of the beginning of her testimony in the posted video? Feels like they did.

If indeed Karyn does the same job in another state, his mommy probably had a hand in landing the job for him in spite of the pending embezzlement case plus she might have been behind the great sales numbers in the first two months of his employment there. Was killing Janet a way of ultimately blaming the theft on Janet? Nope, I don't think so. I think he got mad because she didn't want to go through another pregnancy married to a lying, cheating, felon with serious rage issues and she wanted out of the marriage. He went into one of his rages and he decided to get rid of her.
I was so shocked to hear that Karen called Raven's boss to say that Raven wouldn't be in because Janet committed SUICIDE? Major wth moment for me. We've always wondered how that rumor got spread around to different people.

To me it's smells of EXTREME PREMEDIATION!! Absolutely! He was told he could not take the time off if his numbers weren't up, and when they weren't he figured out a way to get out of there easily (with tears) and then just chose not to go back. Vague contact the next day. Promises and more promises..... to me, it's obvious that he had something else planned and being employed there after Tuesday wasn't part of it.

Please see my above comment re: pre-med-i-ta-ion. Or at the very least.... Q: Was Raven acting weird in the days before the murder? A: Yes. Either way, I can see their testimony fitting in to the puzzle that is this murder conviction.
I do not believe any reason why he had to stay home on Friday other than the original story about the sitter needing time off was ever given, he told Sandy that Kaiden was fine, but that he was going to work from home. The look on her face and her tone of voice when she said all that on the stand made me think she wasn't asked, or given a say in the matter, he just stated that that was how it was going to be. Period. End of conversation, bye-bye.
The dropping by later was probably his way of backing up his own story of "working" at home. With his type of personality, I'd bet you a doughnut that he also wanted to see what the coworkers were saying about him and he could tell by how they acted while he was there for 10 minutes what they might be thinking about him. People like him read body language and micro expressions better than you realize!! He wasn't working at home!! He might have been fake working at home.... now that's more like Raven. Who knows what he was trying to do on those computers.
If all of this just quite doesn't make sense to you/us, remember, a lot of things that Raven did around this time didn't make sense to other people either. Things he said didn't really make sense, like when talking to Mr. Wilson (eurosports). He testified that the things Raven was saying/lying about didn't make sense. Then after the murder when out on the deck at I think Mr. Stone's? house. The bird house story? The scout leader was "so stupid". I can't remember who, but someone else said, Raven was talking but not making any sense. Not the time he was crying on the deck, but some other time. Way earlier we read him "butchin' it up" on the VX board to mirror the other men around him. Another thing I'll throw out there that doesn't make any sense to me is the change thrown out by the driveway/stream. I can't figure that out at all. Anyhow, Raven lies! He says inappropriate things. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record.... he's a dangerous personality and he killed his wife. Only my opinion, from all the years of pondering on it. Peace out, I'm finished ranting on Raven.
There is a picture forming for sure. A few pixels at a time my dear.
