Norman police are searching for a missing and endangered infant.

Norman Police Department spokesperson Sarah Jensen reports that on Feb. 19 officers were called to a domestic assault in the 1500 block of Lakecrest Drive. On scene, police allegedly found that 31-year-old Victor Manuel Minjarez had violently attacked the mother of his child and fled the home with their son, 7-month-old Jody Minjarez.

The female victim obtained a Victim Protective Order against Victor on Feb. 23 that ordered the 7-month-old to be returned to her. Victor has allegedly sent a text message to a friend stating that the woman would never see Jody again. Police believe the 7-month-old is in imminent danger of bodily harm or death.

Victor fled the scene of the assault in a rented U-Haul pick-up. Police say he is currently homeless and they do not have a known address for him. He is believed to be staying at a motel or with a friend.

Victor is described as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately or the Norman Police Department at 405-321-1444.

Is he in a gang? Latin Kings? Or is he just trying to look like a rapper?

So this happened two weeks ago?
I wonder if he has family or close friends he can go to?
Maybe someone he would leave little Jody with for awhile?
Would the U-haul pickup have some tracking system on it?
I wonder how many U-haul pickups are being driven around at any one time?
Should be easy to spot.

Oh my word!!

I’m extremely worried about this baby boy!

If you search the father’s name here, you will see why.

wow, mescaline

Right? The only time I have even heard of mescaline was in Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas. I certainly don’t know anyone who has any first hand experience with it, or 2nd, or 3rd for that matter.

I just got an Amber Alert notice on my phone. (I'm currently in Oklahoma City.)

Here's a link, but I don't know if it will work, as the site might be getting slammed right now.

Victor Minjarez has since sent a text message to a friend telling her to tell the victim that she would never see her son again. Based on this information, it is believed that 7-month-old Jody Minjarez is in imminent danger or bodily harm or death. Minjarez is homeless and it is unknown where he currently is staying yet most likely in the OKC metro area.

I don't know when this text message was sent, but if it happened today it might explain why they only now decided to use the mobile phone emergency alert system.

Wow, that is still around? 70’s drug!

Praying for this baby's safe return.

Oh no. Mesc can give severe hallucinations and can increase the mood you are in. I can't remember when I last heard about mesc. It was a long long time ago, as acid seems more popular.

February 19th was quite awhile ago... 16 days. I wonder what date the friend got the text saying mom would never see the son again...
