The area I see the concrete piles isn't wooded...its actually a cleared field. There are wood areas no the perimeter. But the road (in the Bing satellite images) goes all the way to the top of the north field right up to the wooded border. The concret/rubble piles are on the field side of the wooded areas. Someone posted an excellent picture upthread.

At the time I posted we were discussing the upper field, and someone asked if the spot JP was found was higher up. To which my reply "the area north of the field is heavily wooded". I was referring to the upper (north) field. And i posted the Bing picture.

So from what you are saying you believe it was over drug dealing? If not i stand corrected. But that was kind of the point i was trying to make that it was over drug deals, otherwise why unless the four guys were really good friends with CD would they even go there for any reason? And i haven't read anywhere that any of them were good friends of CD's. They probably could of known of each other, and JP & CD both belonged to the Facebook group that sold shoes, but not good friends. There was something else that linked them together to feel comfortable enough to let CD pick them up and drive them to his place.

It could have been anything(drugs, sneakers, guns, day after 4th fireworks sale, quads, etc). They all knew him. He could have said anything although he did advertise firewood business.

Hey!

If someone hasn't already - I can make a TIMELINE out of this article.

Sorry if this was posted, but nytimes.com reports CD killed two people at the age of 15?

https://nyti.ms/2upUBJV

No.
NYT's reported CD claimed he killed two people in Philly when he was 15.

"During Mr. DiNardo’s confession, the prosecutor’s office said, he also claimed that, at 15, he killed two people in Philadelphia."

There has not been any evidence shared yet to support CD's claim.

That's a random statement to plonk in the middle of a biography. Have NYT got it wrong??

For whatever reason he gave them, whether it was pot or sneakers or alcohol or whatever. He lured them with something.

He could have invited them for something as innocent as to ride ATV's for all we know.
One article said he had big swim parties, maybe he said come help me move some wood and then go for a swim in my parent's pool.
It's summer and these kids had some free time, at that age you think you're immortal, you certainly don't think some loser rich kid is going to kill you for no reason.

I don't have any problem believing he bragged to the cops about killing other people, he been bragging about killing people since he was 14 according to his friends.
Just because he says it doesn't make it true, he's already proven that.
I'm sure the investigators will get to the truth.

Wednesday, July 5

6 p.m.: Patrick was last seen when he leaves his grandfather's home.
DiNardo allegedly picked up Patrick at his Newtown home after he agreed to sell him 4 pounds of marijuana for $8,000, DiNardo told police in a July 13 interview. When Patrick allegedly told DiNardo he only had $800, DiNardo told him that he could sell him a shotgun for that amount. He then allegedly took Patrick to a remote part of the Solebury property and shot him with a .22 caliber rifle, he told police.
DiNardo allegedly used a backhoe to dig an approximately 6-foot hole and buried Patrick on the property.

Thursday, July 6

Patrick’s grandfather reported him missing to the Newtown Township Police Department.

Friday, July 7

Meo was last seen.
6:53 p.m.: Meo's girlfriend received a final text message from him. She later told police she had not been able to get in contact with him since then, which is "out of the ordinary and not common," according to a police criminal complaint filed Wednesday.
Sturgis, a good friend of Meo, was last seen. Sturgis told his father he was going to meet up with Meo, his family told police.
Finocchiaro was also last seen.

7 p.m.: DiNardo, along with Kratz, picked up Finocchiaro from his home after DiNardo allegedly agreed to sell him a quarter of a pound of marijuana for $700, DiNardo told police in a later interview.
During the ride, DiNardo and Kratz allegedly agreed to rob Finocchiaro, DiNardo told police. DiNardo then allegedly gave Kratz a Wesson 357 handgun, which belongs to his mother, and drove around the Solebury property on an ATV.
DiNardo told police Kratz then shot Finocchiaro in the head inside a barn. DiNardo said he then took the gun and shot Finocchiaro in the head as he lied face-down on the floor, but claimed to police he was already dead when he shot him. He then wrapped Finocchiaro's body up in blue tarp and placed him in a metal lank he referred to as the "pig roaster," he told police.

Kratz's statement to police detailed a similar sequence of events, but Kratz claimed that DiNardo was the only one who shot Finocchiaro.

7:49 p.m.: A Solebury Township Police license plate reader caught the license plate matching the description of the silver truck DiNardo told authorities he was driving that night.

7:49 p.m.: The same license plate reader catches Meo's 1996 Nissan Maxima less than 2 miles away from where the truck DiNardo was allegedly driving was located.

DiNardo also had a "deal" set up to sell Meo marijuana that night, he told police. After he located Meo, accompanied by Sturgis, in Peddlers Village, the three eventually got into DiNardo's truck and drove to the Solebury property, where Kratz was waiting, DiNardo said.
DiNardo then allegedly shot Meo in the back and shot Sturgis as he began to run away, he told police. Once he was out of ammunition, he says he used the backhoe to run over Meo before picking up both bodies and putting them in the same metal tank he put Finocchiaro's body in.
DiNardo then allegedly poured gasoline in the tank and lit it on fire, he told police. He and Kratz then left the property, he said.
Finocchiaro's mother reported him missing to the Middletown Township Police Department after he failed to show up to work that night.

it continues...

I have read along but I don't remember did we talk about the small window of time between Dean getting picked up and the camera catching the cars. I just noticed when it was written as above. The times might be out a bit with when Dean got picked up and maybe it doesn't take long to kill someone when your a psycho

If this is part of a bigger picture (which I still completely believe) he might figure that since he is never getting out anyway, he might as well confess to a couple other murders to help someone else out or to pay a debt or who-knows-what. That would explain why there is nothing about him knowing where the bodies are.

Well i imagine LE have recovered the $800 that JP was supposed to have paid CD to get the gun he sold him, because according to CD he have JP the gun? Or maybe LE need to grill him further about where that money is to corroborate his story.

Was the shotgun CD said he gave JTP before he shot him with rifle been recovered? Rifle and 357 were at SK fathers place. If not and there was none wouldn't that violate the "no dp" agreement for not being 100% truthful?

On this evening, Dinardo picks up Patrick at his grandparents' home in
Newtown and they drive to Dinardo's parents' sprawling farmland in Solebury
Township, according to a criminal complaint.
He takes Patrick to a remote part of the property, where Patrick says he only has
$800. Dinardo offers to sell Patrick a shotgun for that money, gives him the
weapon, and then shoots and kills him with a .22-caliber rifle, Dinardo tells
detectives after his arrest.
Dinardo drives the property's backhoe to that remote location and digs a hole
about six feet deep, puts Patrick's body in the ground, and buries him, the
complaint states.

July 6, Thursday Day 2 - Richard Patrick contacts Newtown Twp Police
Dept. to report his grandson 19-year-old Jimi Patrick missing. (time unknown)

July 7, Friday - ~6:30pm/7pm Day 3 - Dinardo sets up two other drug
deals, according to a criminal complaint. He first agrees to meet with Dean
Finocchiaro, a 19-year-old from Middletown Township, and sell him a quarter-
pound of marijuana for about $700.
Before the meeting, Dinardo picks up his cousin Sean Kratz, according to a
complaint.
The cousins drive to Finocchiaro's home, pick him up and bring him back to the
Dinardo's family property. Finocchiaro is last seen at about 6:30 p.m.
getting into a vehicle, police later said, though they did not provide any details
about the vehicle.

Also Bonie Finocchiaro contacts Middletown Twp Police Dept. to report her 19
year-old son, Dean Finocchiaro missing, last seen on July 7th, and did not show
up for work that night. (time unknown)

July 7, Friday - 6:53 p.m.: Meo's girlfriend received a final text message from him.

July 7, Friday - 7:49pm - Later the same day, Dinardo makes plans to
sell marijuana to Thomas Meo, a 21-year-old from Plumstead Township,
according to a criminal complaint. Meo is with his friend and co-worker Mark
Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg.
Dinardo meets with Meo and Sturgis, and they follow him in Meo's 1996
Nissan Maxima to Dinardo's family home. A mobile license plate reader spots
Dinardo's vehicle, a Silver 2016 Ford pickup truck, in Solebury Township at
7:49 p.m.
The plate reader also spots Meo's Nissan Maxima seconds later,
according to the complaint.

After arriving at the house, Meo and Sturgis get into Dinardo's truck and drive
to the family's farmland property, where Kratz remained. As Meo and Sturgis exit
the truck, Dinardo shoots Meo in the back, Dinardo later tells police. Meo
collapses to the ground, screaming.
Sturgis starts to run away and Dinardo shoots at him, striking and killing him.
Dinardo, out of ammunition, gets in the backhoe and drives over Meo, crushing
him to death, the complaint states.
Dinardo uses the backhoe to pick up Meo and Sturgis and put their bodies in the
same metal tank where he earlier had placed Finocchiaro's body. He pours
gasoline into the metal tank and lights it, a complaint states.
Dinardo and Kratz then leave the farm without burying the burned bodies of the
three men.

July 8, Saturday Day 4 - Melissa Fretanduno-Meo contacts Plumstead Twp
Police Dept. to report her 21 year-old missing. Thomas did not show up for
work that day.
In the afternoon, Dinardo and Kratz return to the farm and use the backhoe to
dig a 12.5-foot-deep hole -- about 1/2-mile away from Patrick's grave -- and
bury the "pig roaster" containing the charred bodies of Finocchiaro, Meo and
Sturgis, the complaint states.

At about 5 p.m., Dinardo contacts an unidentified male friend in Bensalem.
They meet up and Dinardo offers to sell him a 1996 Nissan Maxima for $500 --
Meo's vehicle, according to a complaint.

July 9, Sunday Day 5 - Mark Sturgis' family report him missing to the
Pennsyvania State Police, after Mark did not show up for work with Thomas.
(time unknown)

July 9, Sunday - 2:10am - Police locate Sturgis' vehicle in an area
known as Peddler's Village in Bucks County at 2:10 a.m., less than two miles
from where the men were killed, a complaint states.

July 9, Sunday - ~ 4am - Two hours later, investigators locate Meo's
1996 Nissam Maxima at Dinardo's family home in Solesbury Township. The keys
and title to the vehicle, still in Meo's name, hang on the wall inside the garage of
the property, a complaint states.

July 9, Sunday - 2:30pm - Bucks County detectives interview Dinardo
at 2:30 p.m., questioning about his interactions with Dean Finocchiaro on the
night he went missing. Dinardo tells police that he picked up Finocchiaro at his
home at about 7:00 p.m. on July 7 and that Finocchiaro asked him to drive to
Langhorne for "a big coke deal," the complaint states.
He says he made Finocchiaro get out of his truck and then went fishing. Dinardo
denied to police that he was in the Solebury Township area that evening.

July 9, Sunday - ~4:30pm - Later that afternoon, Bucks County
detectives interview Dinardo's friend from Bensalem (KBM-Known Bensalem
Male). He tell them that Dinardo offered to sell him an older-model Nissan
Maxima, according to the criminal complaint.
KBM received a call from
Dinardo on July 8 at approximately 5pm.

July 10, Monday - Day 6 - Search warrant to search property at 6xxx
Lower York Rd in Solebury Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Deep grave found
on property.
Investigators search several locations for evidence. But a signal from one of
the missing men's cell phones leads them to the Dinardo family's farmland
property, according to CNN affiliate WPVI. They execute a search warrant there, a
complaint states, hoping to find the men alive.
The same day, police arrest Dinardo for the unrelated and formerly dismissed
firearms charge dating back to February. His bail is set at $1 million.

July 11, Tuesday Day 7 - Dad bails out Cosmo.

July 12, Wednesday Day 8 - With pressure mounting to find the missing
men, Weintraub announces that officers have recovered several important pieces
of evidence but that the investigation remains "wide open."
Police later re-arrest Dinardo for allegedly stealing and then trying to sell
Meo's vehicle one day after he went missing, according to a criminal
complaint. Not long after, investigators discover the body of Finocchiaro, as well
as other unidentified human remains, in a 12.5-foot-deep grave on the farmland
property. The other remains are later identified as Meo and Sturgis.[/i]

July 12, Wednesday - 12 midnight - DA press conference announces
discovery of the grave.

July 13, Thursday - Day 9 - Detectives interview Dinardo a second time.
Confesses his and Kratz's involvement in murders. Tells detectives where
Patrick's body is.

~ 9:20pm - After confession Sean Kratz is detained and interviewed.
Patrick's body unearthed from grave site.

July 14, Friday Day 10 - DA's office files multiple charges against Dinardo and
Kratz.
Dinardo faces four criminal homicide charges, and Kratz faces three criminal
homicide charges, according to a criminal complaint.
In court judge enters not guilty plea on defendants' behalf and orders them held
without bail.

Maybe he owed the suppliers money and offered a great deal on some weed, though he had none, to some of his regulars. It might have been the first few that contacted him wanting it.

But he could have used the same heavy equipment to get money, like these entrepreneurial fellows. Murdering for money suited him.

I remember reading previously in this thread about how the FBI has gotten involved in this case. Does anyone have any speculation as to what would have made this a national case?

Finding the suppliers who were owed? If they were in another state...finding the reality or not of the 2014 murders? Or ?

Here are some aspects that I find strange. First, the cadaver dogs were able to pick up the scent of 3 of the young men ,12 1/2 feet below ground, but not the scent of Jimi , who was buried 6 ft down? Plus Jimi walked with CD up a path to a remote area, had too much time gone by and his scent was no longer traceable? The path to Jimi couldn't have been to obscure as CD drove the backhoe up there to bury him.

If Dean was shot as stated ,if I recall, in garage, there had to be lots of blood evidence. Was this mentioned at all? As a matter of fact, there should have been traces of blood all over, if all young men were shot, or ran over with backhoe.

i believe robbery was the motive, but the killings just fed his ego and street cred.He couldn't just rob them, as they could easily ID him. All the young men had known him, so I believe the weed was the lure. I think he needed the money, perhaps his parents had cut him off..He had no FT job, perhaps "owed" a supplier, and needed to raise cash fast.

Good point on the blood......on the last paragraph, I think you are trying to make sense of the senseless.

Some seem to think CD was being just being honest, and didn't try to disparage the four victims he brutally murdered. I respectfully disagree. He tried to say they brought this all on themselves because they ripped him off. All of their voices have been silenced by this demonic man who now spins his tale of deceit.

I don't believe for one nanosecond they ripped him off. I DO believe he is the one who had full intentions of murdering them all, one by one, as they came there, and he is the one who ripped THEM off. He had planned to take their lives, and then take their possessions. Yet, like all sociopaths, he spins it as if he was a victim instead of the four he murdered.

Much of his statement makes no sense. He involves Kratz in one of the killings but then says HE is the only one struggling to get the body out of the barn. If Kratz was in the barn at the time of the shooting he would have helped him wrap the body in a tarp and help remove it. In creating his 'story' he forgot the details. Kratz says he was not in the barn at the time the victim was shot, and that makes more logical sense and why CD is the only one struggling to remove the body from the barn by himself.

I still feel he was paranoid and felt that Kratz had ratted him out to the police prior to his arrest so that is why he included him in one of the murders. Yet he knew he had to say he also shot the same victim in case the forensic evidence points to him. If Kratz was so big and bad why didn't he rob the victim while in the woods like CD said he was suppose to do? I find it extremely suspicious that the only one supposedly shot by Kratz is the only one CD admits to also shooting.

I do think Kratz was involved in the robberies and helped him discard the bodies. We see this often when a mastermind will have a hanger on they let hang around in case they need them to help them do the dirty work.

I read an article this morning that CD told LE he also had killed two other men from PA. Has anyone read this and know who they may be?
