This was just one area they searched, the last pic in the album is across the street, the embankment goes down.
I saw a lot of SAR's on the side of the road and search tape, looks like they had/were going to search "down" the side of the road.. Just not safe to pull over and take pics...

It's pretty comfortable up there but I imagine w/them in all their gear and climbing they get hot. I heard them talk about serving them lunch a bit ago.

My other half had to travel into Portland and just got back and saw SAR's on OLD Germantown Rd also..
I heard them moving the repeater earlier so this makes sense..

Free, is this the area they are searching? Just asking because there is a school bus stop there.

They could be, it's hard to see them when they are back in the brush.
They are all up and down Germantown from the Skyline intersection almost all the way down to Hwy 30, and as I said the BF said he saw them on OLD Germantown (I asked him 3x) he took that road because there was so much slow traffic on Germantown..

Interesting.. a little birdie told me that DY's groups would be searching those particular areas this w/e. But remember the January searches and DY's 'east of the school' comment... they never did search (that we were told) east of the school then, but they are now.

The general area has been searched before. Old Germantown Road is where DDS was working on 6/4/10.
I don't know specifically where they are today in relation to that. My comment was specific to the January searches.

I have heard them in previous searches at the bottom of Germantown by Hwy 30...

It is not REAL close to the school as in walking.. no...

Is this a hiking trail freefallzz? Is there car access? It looks like a ridge with steep embankments and it goes across a river or stream.
