The arrest was a multi-jurisdictional effort by Anchorage Police, FBI, law enforcement in Lufkin and Texas Rangers.

Keyes is being held in a federal facility in Beaumont, Texas on unspecified charges.
"The federal arrest warrant was sealed; therefore, details related to his charges will not be released at this time," APD spokesperson Anita Shell wrote in a press release.
Police are also seeking information from anyone who may have come into contact with Keyes since Jan. 1, or visited his construction company, Keyes Construction, in Anchorage. According to online records, the business is located on Arctic Boulevard in Anchorage. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-800-225-5324 OR 1-800-CALL-FBI
Try doing one for Spurr Lane (house searched) and the coffee shop...or adding Spurr Lane to your map...really close.OMG! I just did a mapquest search from the coffee shack to the address listed on the Keyes Construction website and it's 4-5 minutes (driving) away! I'm going to try to paste a pic/link (I'm a noob!)

Well Ill be damned! Hallelujah. .this gives renewed hope that these cases can be resolved.. sadly I believe Sam isn't likely alive.. I mean what in the hell could they have found so quickly ina routine search of his car after being pulled over.. that would automatically link him to Sam
http://www.ktre.com/story/17171075/lufkin-kidnapping-arrest-tied-to-alaska-abductionAccording to a press release, Anchorage Police have had two detectives in Texas for several days as they investigated the abduction of Samantha Koenig, 18.
Police say Tuesday's arrest of Israel Keyes is directly connected to that abduction, but Koenig is still missing.
I noticed there were many edits (stops & starts) in that interview. That lead me to believe he refused to answer some questions.
The events of that night, or even the events of the days/weeks leading up to Sam's disappearance have never been discussed. People have asked "why wasn't Sam reported missing that night", both on the Missing FB Page and the Forum they set up. The posts are either ignored or deleted.
Strange, considering everything a missing person does in the 24-48 hours prior to going missing, is considered very important.
Many things in this case just don't add up
I'm trying to stay optimistic, SO. They've been on this guy for "several days", according to one article. It was just about a week ago that the chief of homicide said he believes she's alive. Hopefully, he knew what he was talking about.
Going by the non-reporting by her father and boyfriend on that night, it would seem that Samantha was not one who came home regularly at night...this may not be true, but it sure makes it seem that way.
Why is JK so adamant that Sam's boyfriend and best friends stay out of the media? Is JK trying to control what is being said about Samantha being kidnapped by the people who know her best?
IMO of course.
well I'll be darned.. he WAS arrested on Tuesday
the following is a texas news source:
