I understood that Brittney's mother, Chessie, was also charged with some child sex offences around the same time? I don't know what happened about those charges, does anyone?

She took a plea deal to a lesser charge of reckless endangerment. They gave her probation.

I'm the same. I think of her pretty much every day, and I live on the other side of the world. She should have had the very best in life, but had the very worst instead. She should be enjoying being a mother, growing up together. Her daughter needs to know what happened to her. She needs to come home, and the people involved need to be held responsible.

The Peacock series made me so frustrated. Maybe I just remember this case unfolding differently, but didn't SW call the police because the child he was molesting was being molested by someone else and he didn't like sharing her? I thought that was on the original phone call or something?

You are correct. The DA said he blew the whistle because he didn't want to continue to share his victim any longer. The docuseries was very bias and misleading IMO.

Ty for the link. Brittney will be found some day. I dont believe the perpetrators of disappearing her are so smart to make her disappear forever. It was a quick reaction to their impending investigation for abusing their children. Nothing these people did was smart...i mean they tried to make it seem like donnie suicided himself in the back of his head...Imo

Omgosh knox i totally understand what your saying! Its crazy to me that Brittney was disappeared that long ago! And yes there is still hope that one day Brittney Wood will be found. Idk how much more or how many more people in her family will be punished for disappearing her but yes someday some how those decrepit humans wil feel the wrath of taking her life. Muchless taking the innocence of the rest of those poor kids in that family.
