Once again.. another open end.
This 24 year old waitress with no credit cards, no bank account and according to her “goals list” had an outstanding debt with the library she wanted to pay off in the next month BUT she had more then 10k hanging out in a shoe box under her bed? Fishy

Yes, but what if she had a prior car and had gotten either an insurance settlement or sale proceeds? Does anyone know if she had a prior car?

Situation with the information on this case is upsetting and in my mind the overall situation with information is taking away from what is important which is finding DV. I went back today and read the thread from the beginning and there is alot of excellent information here that many many different people have contributed since this thread was created. It bothers me that many of the early posters that understood Mobile and had knowledge of the situation seem to have melted away. I find this upsetting and I wish they were still following along here.

In my mind the only reason I have continued to follow the thread was because of DV and her daughter. I didn't follow the thread because of the family or lack thereof as I believe, at least to me, that they are a distraction from finding DV. I don't think I can spend any time thinking about the family so I will put them off to the side for now.

What upsets me was the earlier post today about how DVT is selectively sharing information. In my experience in problem solving the fastest way to achieve poor or zero results is selective sharing in a group project. I don't sense the family is willing or able to change their view about how best to work effectively with people. I feel quite sorry for them but I cannot personally give them any more time or energy as it interferes with what is the goal here which is finding DV.

Its a sad situation but it is what it is and its good that the situation was understood sooner rather than later IMO.

I am one of the locals and I am still here following along. Because of work and my hours I don't have a lot of time to comment. I have contacted a few individuals with the city council but most want to just leave it to LE to do their thing.

So far I agree with all of the assumptions I am seeing here. My biggest take and why this may not be in the press or being talked about is that LE knows exactly what happen, or have a very good idea of what happen. I am also guessing this information has been forwarded to the media, that LE will not be releasing any information because it could damage the case. At this point I don't see any other explanation for the quiet that is involved with this case. Yes absolutely the oddest case I have ever seen in my life.

If there is any specific question I can answer locally I will most certainly do my best.

I haven't stopped talking because TT was mentioned. I don't know much about TT other than he's now in rehab and was incarcerated when DV went missing. I don't know date of release/date of admittance to rehab.

This is information that I find odd, I have yet to verify that he was incarcerated at the time of her disappearance, I have done multiple online and government searches with zero results.

Thanks for update. If you could find out if le is going to do another briefing and speak to the public and press about the case that would help a lot. I have stepped away from the case as I believe your view is correct and I also am deeply disturbed about the selective information sharing from the non birth family and their minions which effectively eliminates the effectiveness of our efforts on this thread. I also remain concerned that the “friend” or “friends” on the party train with DV haven’t publically helped this case and they might actually present a potential threat to those seeking to help find DV.

She paid for it in cash. With regards to the disabled GPS, it's the onboard GPS that operates OnStar (though I, personally, don't know if she had OnStar activated). In her car, there is a fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel and this is where the fuse for the GPS is so it wouldn't be hard to remove, which is likely what happened.

To me that shows premeditation and has always been my original thought. Disabling the GPS isn't something that would normally be done in a heat of the moment activity.

Everything I've read has said this was Danniella's first car. Her goals list mentioned getting "a" car, and she was so excited to get "her car." Insurance payout from a previous car would make sense--maybe she only needed to save a certain amount to cover the difference between an insurance payout and a new car.

I have been skeptical about her financial situation because her goals list included paying off a library fine. That can't be much. If she had $10,000+ in cash sitting around you'd think she would pay off the library fine at some point. It is very hard to be making ends meet and have that much money sitting around.

I have checked state of Alabama and mobile county sheriffs sites nd he is not listed as in jail for the time of disappearance. I was going to look at NC and KS as both DV and he had lived in those states. Also the time frame for incarceration has been stated by JDT as 5 days and 5 weeks. Big difference. Which is correct and why the discrepancy?

They do and the decision to not speak out is highly questionable IMO. Hope DV did not pay the ultimate price for having such people in her life.

I fear someone(s) wasn't very good nor kind to Danniella.

Most states allow any court records (w/a few exceptions: sealed, dealing with a minor, etc.) to be viewed by the public. Alabama provides public access through AlacourtACCESS

You can search by name or case number. There are fees involved, but the available records include criminal, civil, small claims, state traffic, domestic relations, and child support.

According to the info posted on the TL the "friend" isn't really a friend at all. It is a guy but the individual and DV did not really know each other.

After reading the TL my original suspicions seems to be correct ......

Then what is your theory? Was this person just part of party train and not close friend? There must have been some relationship as DV flashed her lights at this person and was going to follow him back to Dublin’s to look for phone or that was the story. I have to say I’m now confused about how many people were at the gas station? DV + 1 or DV + 2 or DV + 3?

It’s also odd though as this “friend” is supposedly the person that drove back to Dublin’s and got the phone that was lost. Eventually the phone made it back to police. I hope it wasn’t tampered with by “friend” or someone at Dublin’s.

I’m reading it that the party train was DV + 2 men + 1 woman.

1 man + 1 woman left the bar before DV + DW.
DV + DW left together.

He was car #1 & #3.
Though they said the type of car/people in cars couldn’t be established because the video was grainy
