Awww I missed this. I didn't realize it was on. Do you think they will show it again? I do hope they tell the story of all of the people and not just focus on one person. This may sound terrible but I always felt they put so much focus on Lisa Beamer and her loss when there were so many other's that lost loved ones too.

I think they did a nice balance showing the different families. It was wonderful...but sad.:(

I am glad to hear that (they balanced it out). I am sure it was very sad and I know I will be crying my eyes out if I get the chance to see it.

yes it was wonderful. A&E did a spectacular job! And my friend was right. The scene with the girl talking to her mother was the heartbreaker for me. I lost it. That was too much.

yes, and on A&E right now is a special about the man from Morgan Stanley who worked in the Towers who predicted that such an event would happen such as 9/11.
He had even practiced an evacuation plan. Which is why so many of their employees made it out of the building safely.
He is a hero. It's so sad that he didn't survive, either.
So many lives less, senselessly.

It's a good special.

Makes you realize that terrorism is real and must be dealt with.

Hey Deandanielle!
The weird thing is that the show prior to this one was about Rick Rescorla.
My ex brother-in-law retired from Morgan Stanley two weeks prior to 9/11.
I do know that John was upset alot about firedrills all of the time. Those firedrills save alot of lives. Two in particular were Michael and Roselle.
Michael is blind and Roselle is his seeing eye dog.
Together they made it down 78 flights of stairs, then to have to run for their lives once they got out because by the time they made it out the building was collapsing.

That is amazing. I feel overwhelmed thinking about the pain 9/11 has caused family and loved ones, as well as the turmoil this country has endured. Such a tragedy. :(

I watched the flight that fought back on discovery channel.I cried the whole time.I am originally from Jersey and the the post office in that town re-named the post office to Todd Beamer post office.

I got to meet Lisa Beamer when she came to one of our Sam's to sign her books. She was very sweet.
