Bombil....and awesome first post! Thanks for putting all that info together for us to start the new thread.
I will second that, a nice little summary, welcome,I have only been here 5 minutes myself. I think we all kind of think gee this could so be a scenario in our lives. Kids, socialising, teenage relationships(drugs/booze/parties?) And with information like texting, going around at lightning speed in a town about who is with who and doing what. Ego's can get crushed, and kids can spiral into unbridled rage when emotions are at stake.

Im glad its basically the end of the school year cause kids will not be talking about much as around the traps. They will feel the vibe of the situation and relate it to their group now! Lets soldier on and get to the bottom of it shall we?

Didn't police say he stayed at the scene for at least an hour afterwards?

OK here is the thing then, if he was there that long the theory of Blind Rage and him not remember will not apply because everything I've read it doesn't last that long. Usually 10 to 20 minutes, even if you double that it is still not right. Not only this, but he would have snapped out of it shortly after he left the house. Why would someone who didn't remember be able to hide the weapon and not know.

He has shown guilt, he was everywhere after the incident, he clearly wanted to see everyone's reaction. It is like if an artist had their first painting in a showing, they would want to go to watch what others thought of their picture.

This doesn't fit with a sudden burst of rage, to where he would forget what he did.

No he was mad, angry, and that anger grew and grew that night. He didn't snap, he just wasn't able to hold it in like he has in the past.

Again, I know nothing about OZ laws, but this suppression law...I don't like! LOL

You know what, I actually know more about US courts than Australian ones!! I think he'll get convicted for life but may end up in the psyche wing. And I'm not ready to hand him a Dissociative disorder yet.....I think he's just a c***, but that's my opinion, a disturbed one if he is though.....waiting on more info re that.

Wow so he really did get up to some disturbing things there to spend an hour there.

Missedcalling - you have posted some things we have not heard yet, so thanks. Im sure that is the first comment ive heard from a friend of his that said he thought/knew {mod edit} the alleged suspect was capable of it. Did you take a screen shot of the comments?

I have some screen shots of some of the quotes. I have the one where he says he knew he had it in him.

I'm really thinking this kid was a natural born killer. He couldn't hold back his dark passenger any more.

I think he enjoyed killing them, and all I can say is thank goodness he wasn't able to control it for if he had, we could have seen the worst serial killer in history.

I can confirm that photo is here on his bebo

{mod edit} remove link

amazing no one found it till now

it doesnt make sence he killed them so brutally...never seemed disturbed even his primary school friends where shocked....capable of so much...never committed anything like this before...yet so held together after murders...

maybe he doesnt feel remorse for the crime he commited.

they said he showed no emotion in court..he showed no emotion at the shrine either

They must be 1/2 brothers because I don't see any features that would tell me that are blood brothers.

Yeah you usually hear about previous things like animal cruelty with cases like this. If kids/teens kill animals/pets or are cruel to them its a very, very bad sign.

John Douglas (criminal profiler): http://www.johndouglasmindhunter.com/articles/030211.php

Some killers simply dump the bodies of their victims on a road somewhere. Others pose or display them, as if they're showcasing an accomplishment.
Bodies that are displayed can be found easily by police. The killer isn't trying to hide them. Some of the victims in the Atlanta child murders decades ago were displayed out in the open. The killer wanted them to be found that way. It was basically his way of saying: "I'm presenting my trophy here. Screw you, law enforcement. Try to catch me if you can."

Displays are usually directed at the authorities. Posing tends to be more personal. It's about the victim.

Convicted killer George Russell posed his victims in Seattle. He used what we call artifacts, or instruments, to pose the naked victims in sexually explicit ways. One woman was posed with a shotgun between her legs and another with a sex toy in her mouth. They were set up in a degrading manner, illustrating the killer's way of thinking: "These women are nothing but a bunch of *advertiser censored*."

Posing was the term used to describe how he positioned Chantelle so that would fit since it was all about her...:furious:

I do not watch scary movies but if anyone does, could they pinpoint any similarities with tis case and some movie?

Reason I ask is because I think he has fantasized about killing for years, he stated he liked scary movies. Perhaps one movie turned him on more, and maybe he wanted to do the something he saw in a movie because it turned him on.

I love the painting analogy Lera, that is an excellent description, and makes it very powerful visually!

Errrr yes there are certainly movies (DVD's) out there that realistically show some of the things that he supposedly did. If you didnt know they were a movie then you could quite easily think its real. They are not the what you would ever see on TV eg not main steam hollywood horror films but are readily availble to buy or view/download online. I cant think of a particular one that has a storyline that is so similar as some of these movies can have no plot at all really but im sure there are some out there. He certainly could have got some ideas from of them. There are plenty out there that you can see all sorts of sick stuff on.
If you do some searches for ‘sickest films ever made’ or ‘most disturbing films’ or similar search terms (others will pop up in Google search) you can find many examples in top 10 lists etc. Some are a little overated/overhyped though.

Can anyone elaborate on how he posed her? How he tampered with her body? I'm not really understanding it

Thanks
