I really hate to say it, but this is part of the reason why wildlife people often say NOT to feed wild animals.

Because there are losers like this guy, who will do bad things to them once they have started to trust and like humans.

It's unfair that animals have to suffer from hunger that is often caused by humans.
And that humans and animals miss out on mutually enriching relationships.

But I hate to say it, maybe they are right? :,(

Ms Piek said her mother was the first person to approach the spear fisherman, and requested to take his photo.

"He smiled and showed off his killing," Ms Piek said.

What a legend Carolyn Piek is to stay calm enough to get a good photo of the criminal literally red handed.

If you watch this video, you'll see round about 0:56 that there are at least 2 very clear signposts on the beach showing that spear-fishing is not allowed. It's not as if this fish-killer didn't know.
